Owner Involvement. Mike, the owner, will work with any issues resulting from work they have done. His main goal is to please his customers. He recently has taken over as the new owner and wants to strive to be a leading shop in the Austin area. I have taken four of my automobiles over the years and there have been challenges on some of the work, but Mike has come through. I recommend you speak to Mike before walking away to another shop if you have issues.

Best Auto Repair. My car was a definite problem child before I went to B&B. I was spending hundreds of dollars with other shops, and the problems weren't fixed. The mechanics at B&B accurately diagnosed the problems, explained what was happening, fixed my car & my LIFE!!! Thank you Thank you . Definitely the best place to take your cars. Very friendly and I was treated with the utmost respect. The problems with my car were explained to me in a way the I could understand and made sense, including the price quote which was accurate and fair. I will definitely be back for all my auto repair needs. Thanks B&B.

Great customer service, reasonable prices & knowledgable mechanics. I highly recommend B&B Auto! They are very customer service oriented, knowledgable, thorough and will only repair what is necessary. They are conscientious and they truly care about their customers from their service writers to their mechanics to the owner of the shop; a total team effort! In fact, Mike, the owner, seems to be always at the shop and always available to answer questions. Their follow up is very helpful too as they send emails informing me of when the next service is due and for what; this is helpful for me as I travel a fair amount for my job and am very busy.

B&B Auto is where I bring all of my cars---I highly recommend this shop to my friends and colleagues! Keep up the good work!!!

B&B... Find another place. I took my Explorer in for service when the check engine light came on (P0171, P0174). I assumed that because of all of the vehicles in the parking lot, B&B must be popular. Now it looks as though the cars keep coming back because they weren't repaired the first time. Anyways, they said they replaced the intake manifold gasket, plugs, wires etc... the plug wires didn't look new, that's another story. $875 later, I drove home, only to have the same codes appear one month later. I took it back, and they decided it was the fuel pump. That would be another $850. A Ford mechanic then told me that based on the performance of the truck, there's no way it could be the fuel pump. Save yourself the trouble, and some money, ask around for references.

If you were dissatisfied with the service received you should have brought this to our attention. Your description of the time between when your initial visit here and the follow-up 1 month later indicates that this was an intermittent failure condition. What we address when a vehicle is in our shop is what is actually happening at the time. If we cannot reproduce a customer?s complaint, as they describe it, we can only perform a series of tests and point out only what we do find at the time of actually testing. We can then only make suggestions, not recommendations with a 100% guarantee of correction. It appears from what you have written the work authorized and performed initially was needed to correct what we did find. The subsequent issue of the codes returning a MONTH later collaborates that the condition was intermittent. We stand behind what we do. We are not perfect and no one is, but it is how you handle the situation (given the chance) that makes us different.

Unprofessional service, expensive.. I have had some unprofessional car service experiences in the past, but this was the worst one.

I am sorry to see this type of comment appear associated with us. Unfortunately I cannot change what has occurred that may have caused this kind of response and there are no other details posted to go on. B&B has been in operation since 1974 and has survived due to the fact we do a lot of the RIGHT things. That means taking responsibility for what occurs and being committed to the satisfaction of our customers. We service a vast amount of vehicles on a daily basis and in that process there is bound to be a miscommunication that can result in a comment like this. All issues are brought to my personal attention and acted upon. If something is not right with the service you or anyone receives for that matter I (and we) want to know about it. Otherwise there is nothing that can be done and negative anonymous comments get posted which skew what a particular business is really about.
