Voice of Experience. I've been training in martial arts and visiting schools for several decades, around the country and in a few other nations. Sun Dragon is a wonderful program and a great community of people--a lot of fun to know this group! Their location is great, and the schedule makes it easy to work out and stay fit and feel safe, no matter who you are or how very busy busy busy your schedule.

Best Dojo Ever. I have trained at SunDragon for more than two years now. I was never athletic before, but I have been able to excel in the martial arts because of SunDragon's supportive environment. SunDragon is not like most other karate schools: it is about empowering women and girls to defend themselves and take control of their lives, not about competition and macho power games. Any woman who has an interest in the martial arts but has shied away because of negative associations should try SunDragon. The womens and girls-only classes make the school especially welcoming to all kinds of females: old, young, large, small. There are also family classes for men and boys who want the same kind of environment. The school has a strong sense of community and camaraderie, and I feel very lucky to be a part of it.
