Horrible experience-. I went searching for a pair of jeans and was so disappointed by the customer service. The woman was rude and repeatedly told me the jeans were "supposed to be like that" when I said I disliked the fit. Who cares who makes the jean? If they look bad, I'm not buying them, no matter what the self-serving sales person says. I left without the jeans that I was so set on buying that day.

Wow!!!. What wonderful customer service. Recently had to exchange a shirt that had a small hole in it. I didn't know if they would exchange or not as I had worn the shirt. It was exchanged with no questions asked. I found the clothes in their shop wonderfully trendy without being outrageous. I live in Houston but will travel to the store to shop. Their service was excellent and definitely not snobby as so many boutiques can be. As a mother shopping with 4 children in tow, they made it a pleasure.

why aren't you buying versace?. If you have the money for the clothes at By George, you should be flying to New York and LA to spend it. WAY overpriced for anyone with common sense, although the clothes are tasteful.

The Best of Austin. I am fairly new to Austin and, until I walked into By George, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of women's clothing stores in Austin: either uninteresting chain stores or boutiques that sold clothing that hasn't been in style for the past 2 years. By George truly has the best selection of fashionable clothing in Austin. They carry many of the same items I have seen in boutiques in San Francisco and New York. Keep up the good work! Definitely not a store for co-eds (case in point: all of the negative reviews about high prices are from college students). Keeping that in mind, I was suprised to find out that there was another location close to campus.

BEST customer service ever. By George is the absolute best customer service oriented retailer I have ever encountered. They went above and beyond to find the Levi's discontinued jeans that no one else would try to find for me. Scott was my sales representative and was an absolute dream for keeping close contact and insuring that I was completely happy with my purchase. Thank you for offering this service so that others can trust that they will be well taken care of.

Admirable Customer Service!. I am certainly a fan of By Georges beautiful lines of womens apparel ~ and impressed with the customer service they offered me regarding a pair of Seven jeans found defective. In the past I have purchased a number of seven jeans and have loved wearing them my most recent pair from By George a hole developed in the knee after only a few weeks. Connie (the manager at the Lamar location) was very understanding and allowed me pick out a new pair. They were accommodating and want their customers to be pleased with each purchase! On a side notethe Christmas wrapping for this holiday season was also adorable!

great clothes. I think it's funny how people are complaining about the return policy. Every upscale clothing store is like that! They even offer layway which most upscale stores don't.

Love, love love...if..... You are RICH, RICH RICH. It's got a great selection of trendy, sexy, sleek clothes, but the prices are jaw dropping. So unless you are a big baller, I would try elsewhere.

Great store, great clothes. I have been in both locations several times looking for jeans and the sales people are always very helpful and polite. I don't know why other reviews say any differently! Also, after I bought my jeans I got a nice card in the mail saying thank you.
