So, you don't have to eat Kismet's food with your hands, but I dare you to daintily cut into their ginormous gyros and come away with neat, clean bites. Abandon that plan, and dive into the gyro's savory, meaty masses, tongue first.
I hate it. Service was bad. Food was so-so.. The hummus lacked flavor. Tabbouleh was delicious.. The grape leaves were the worst I've ever had. when we went to use the bathroom (which were filthy!!) The inside smelled like a septic tank exploded. So sad about my experience! Will never go back again. Oh they have spanish music !!!
Careless Mnager.
We ended up here in a Friday
I got my food quickly but they forgot to order my boyfriends plate. We waited a long time and when we spoke to the manager, I realized that they hadn't even ordered
his food, we ate some of my plate and we waite more than 30 minutes.
We spoke to her again she didn't bother her self to apologize.
Well...I tried it again over lunch with my friends and they lost our ticket!!!
my friend spoke with the manager, she was careless.
Food was good depending on that you ordered but they need good managment and good service.
Best resttaurant in Austin TX. This restaurant is the best place you can ever eat at, nice management and good food, and recently ...free wireless Internet
Best Gyros in Austin!. Kismet has awesome gyros! Their hummus is really great too. Come to think of it, everything I've had there has been delicious. Plus, you can't beat the fast service and friendly staff!
Good cheap food. I recommend their food highly. Simple vegitarian dishes with great flavor and low prices. What more could you want?
Inexpensive, delicious and hearty Mediterranean food in a simple atmosphere near UT campus..
In Short
A small space is well-utilized, with counter ordering and many wooden tables packed into a very informal dining area. Wood paneling walls feature colorful murals depicting Middle Eastern architecture. Most customers are students from nearby UT who appreciate affordable prices. The kibbe's golden-brown, fried wheat coating reveals a beef-herb-onion stuffing. The lamb gyro platter comes with yogurt, basmati rice, cucumber/tomato salad and grape leaves. Vegetarian-friendly falafel/hummus platter offers light patties with flavorful tahini sauce.
