Good Food. I have ordered several times to be delivered. It easy and its quick but it has one drawback. I always order onion rings and received them only once. I usually wind up with fries, but the food is hot and tasty.

The 1st time is the last time!. First of all, this review pertains to the new Hill-Bert's location on Burnet Rd, where the Taco Bell used to be at the intersection with Greenlawn.

The only reason that a star in the rating category is because I couldn't publish my review without a rating.

For starters, where's the beef? I didn't recall ordering a kid's meal for that price. Also, where are the combo meals and free refills? Have they ever heard of customer retention?

And customer service? It doesn't exist there. When I informed the owner's daughter about that the Grey Poupon that they leave on the counter contains eggs and requires refrigeration, she gave me this story that they swap them out of the fridge every hour. When I told her I'd throw it away for her, she gave me an attitude about disposing of it. She then rolled her eyes and put it back in the fridge! The odd thing was, she didn't bring another one out to replace it. Every hour????

Something smells, and it's not just the Grey Poupon.

bad for cc users. no one seems to have a true grasp on what discrimination is - don't give them your cc #. They will tack on $3.00 and tell you that it is only half of the fees their cc company charges them. Really??!! Their cc company charges them $6.00 flat fee per credit card run? Maybe they should just disguise it as delivery fees and NOT piss off long-term customers. There are a LOT of other places to get undersized burgers.

BEST BURGERS & SHAKES in town. Hilbert's has a great Austin feel....especially the Lamar location. I use to go there for lunch while in high school and the onion rings and the chocolate malts are awesome. My children are now avid Hilbert's fans. The whole wheat bun makes you feel like you're being at least a little healthy:) A great tradition for any family!

Rock on Maldonado Family!

Great little "locally owned" burger joint. My burger was really tasty and served nice and hot. I also like it that Hill-berts isn't part of a giant chain. Give 'em a try.

Tasty, tasty. Hillbert's is a really tasty burger of the flame broiled variety. It's one of my favorite no frills place in town and always consistent. Fries are very good too.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Staff. Burgers, wings, fries, shakes and rings that'll take you back to a time when nobody cared about fat grams.

YUM!. Burger & fries in town! The food is served fresh, hot and in an efficient manner. Definitely not diet food.
