WTF? Seriously?.
Seriously, my tacos was just thrown together in a half-assed manner. Toss in some potatoes(which were still kinda hard and had the skin on) and a few chunks of bacon, cold cheese and charge $2.17.
Save your money and go across the street to El Patio...sucks they don't open before 11am though.

maybe not.
I ordered tacos, chips, and queso; simple stuff and I had to add salt to everything! Does not compare to other places that sell tacos in Austin. Disappointing...

Wow!.
This location is close to where I work, so I frequent it the most. The food is always consistent and good. Always feels like a healthier choice for me. Great new combo prices. Their horchata is the best, and they make it from scratch.

Unsafe food - bad attitude!.
I bought two burritos and put one in the fridge for lunch. The first was fine, if unremarkable... a sin in a city with such good Mexican food. But the second (guacamole jumbo) was INEDIBLE when I took it out 2 days later. The tomatoes throughout had gone totally bad.
This was a health hazard, so I went back to the restaurant. The manager never took me seriously, acting like I'd left it out or was trying to return a new car a year after I bought it. He said even fresh tomatoes go bad fast, everything made fresh every day, etc. I said everyone makes mistakes. I told him if you take a fresh tomato, slice it, and throw it in the fridge, it ain't gonna go bad in 2 days. No way. He finally offered a replacement ("what do you want? if you want another one I'll give you another one") but the next customer was getting impatient and I gave up.
Stay away! Bad food can make you very very sick! And the attitude doesn't bode well for the product quality.

Stretch your dollars--and gut--with flavorful tacos and burritos made in minutes..
In Short
This restaurant, on the northern end of the Drag, features an interior with a curious postmodern/Southwestern look. There's also a small patio in front, behind steel-mesh screens, where you can eat in nice weather. The diners are generally busy with only a few minutes to spare between appointments and classes. The low-priced menu features del jardin tacos with black beans, cheese and salsa and the del mar with marinated mahi mahi and pico de gallo.

Fish tacos + mango slushee= Crazy Delicious!.
Best value in town for fast handmade food. Plenty of different drinks to match your mood for the day ie 3-4 agua frescas, tropical drinks, cervesa, pomegrate margarita. Fish tacos are awesome. Atmosphere is cool and trendy yet comfy. WiFi a major plus. My favorite cheap restaurant.

Best fish tacos in town!!!.
I just tried two new taco places that opened in town recently that are known for their fish tacos, and they simply don't compare. Changos is the best! Great aguas frescas too. I probably eat here on an average of 4 times a week. They need to open more!

Best Burrito in Austin.
The Super Burrito at Changos is the standard that all other burritos should be measured by. They have discovered the perfect burrito formula, eliminating the need for the assembly-line style burritos from the other places that mask the restaurant's inability to create a good burrito themselves. While there are many good burritos in town, they are at best a distant second to Changos.
