great little dive bar. I had gone in Nasty's after years away from Austin. I had gone in there late one night,trying to find a t-shirt to buy,..(it was cold outside and I had forgotten warmer clothing) The young lady working the bar and the other staff employee were very kind and apologized for not having them ,which was nice and the patrons were cool and bar service was very good,.I will come back for sure,..and anyone who complains about the bar being a "nasty dive bar",.go hit 6th and hang out in ur foo foo bars. I wanted to thank Nasty's for being a great little neighborhood pit !!! Ya cant hang,get off the porch,..LOL Love you guys

Not sure why an employed adult would go here. The name is very appropriate- if you're the type of person that could enjoy hanging out in a truckstop bathroom with a six pack of longnecks, then this is your bar.

I'm no snob- hole in the wall places can be great; I've been in some incredibly seedy bars in 3rd world countries even that I rather enjoyed. Those places however had a gritty character that justified the filth. Nasty's, true to its name just seems to be a dirty little place just because it is too lazy to care about being anything nicer.

If I were unemployed with no car and lived a block away I'm sure I'd love it, but since I meet none of those criteria, I have no desire to return.

The name says it all: it's nasty and gross in there. I wasn't impressed. The place is a real hole in the wall, 4 legged critters and crickets and all.

I didn't see any drink/beer specials, so I don't see what draws people in. Maybe I was there on a slow night, but the bartender was a scary, rough old guy who could use a shower. The standard pool table, darts and other bar games were there, but it was all old and grungy.

Maybe I'm missing the whole point, but I prefer my beer insect free.

Longest running weekly & best hiphop. Nasty's on Monday is the longest running weekly in Austin. DJ Mel, internationally known, has a way with his records and tune choice. The diverse, active crowd is always happy and full. Although I can't attend very often, the vibe is always fun. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for hiphop lovers, dancers and people who just wanna hang out.

Never thought I'd say " I Love Monday's". I luv it here... Nasty's has a great atmosphere and such a diverse crowd. I've never experienced a bad night....and at the same time never wanted the night to end. Best DJ's you'll hear in Austin!!

Nasty's is one of those ever-popular hole in the walls. Could it be because the margaritas are oh-so-tasty and pitchers of beer can be purchased without breaking anyone's budget? The outside beer garden is an ideal spot for vegging out. Monday nights are hip-hop nights with DJ Mel and Baby G; while Wednesdays and Saturdays welcome live bands. Tuesdays and Fridays feature ever-changing surprise happy hour and drink specials.

The best bar in Austin!. Nasty's is by far the best bar in Austin. It has the best music, the best drinks, and the best atmosphere! Also, for all you single ladies out there, the Nasty's guys are smokin hot! And, if you're on the prowl, you definitely want to check out Nasty's on a Thursday night when all the hunky rugby players are there. Nasty's is the perfect bar for all Austinites. It has a great mix of people, awesome live music on Saturday nights, delicious fancy margaritas, and fun pool tables! Nasty's is the place to be!

Laidback and Easy. I discovered this place a couple years ago when I moved into the neighborhood. It really is an awesome neighborhood bar! The beer selection is great and the prices are cheap. There is pool and darts for those who cant sit still. My suggestion: skip the downtown hype and stay close to home - go to Nastys and take it easy.

Get your drink on for peanuts!. Nasty's is awesome! My roommate and I made this place our haven while I was living in Austin, and this place rocks!!! Excellent music, friendly Huns, cheap pool and beer, and awesome bartenders!! Give Jack a hug for me next time you are there, tell him Vegas sent you!

smiling happy people. If you are just looking to meet some new people, have a good time and hang out this is an awesome place to go. There is a good mix of people and they always seem to be smiling.
