Rude, cooler than thou hipsters run
this place. They act like their jobs are super-important, and treat their customers -especially the ones selling their clothes to them - like crap. They won't buy clothes from anyone. Meanwhile their racks are full of bad thrift store crap. Get a life idiots.

Snotty bitch clerks.
The clothes are cool & the prices are awesome. But overall I'm not real fond of clerks being real bitches to me, ya know? Last night, the clerks made fun of me for being extra-large (I'm a size 6). I pull up in a Porsche 911, rocking Harley boots, black fishnets, black lace fingerless gloves, a short crenoline rock skirt, long blonde hair & a black leather jacket & they tell me sight unseen they won't buy my used clothes because my style wouldn't be cool enough for them.. I wait in line for an hour to sell them my used clothes, in perfect condition, folded in plastic bags & without even looking them over the clerk throws them on the floor & then wads them up in my box & shoves the boots & shoes on top of them & says they wouldn't take anything like that ~ which included a buttery brown leather bomber jacket, They have cool clothes, but they have some crap in there too, the worst fashions of the 1970s & such, I call there the next day & another clerk sort of apologizes & tells me to give it another shot. I give it another shot last night, with a little black dress I wore to a JJ Cale disc release, high-healed sneakers, a vintage emerald green velvet evening gown, yada yada, wait 30 to 45 minutes in line for a snotty clerk to say they take only things like Addidas workout clothes that still have the tags on them. What a total load of crap.

I totally found my new place to shop!.
This is the best place to buy and sell clothes. I had an amazingly wonderful experience browsing the endless racks and found some outstanding deals. I am a bit of a hippie so I love the selection here. The location is excellent as well.

Dont know why i keep going back. i just really used them..
ok so yeah i go back again and again. ive been going there for 3 yrs and i pretty much know what they will buy when i sell. And it also depends on the buyer so i always know what buyer is going to be too picky. i always do the trade there because i never get enough cash to where it feels worth selling, so i just do trade. i usually find myself selling the cloths i bought from there. so all in all we are exchanging cloths. i have been to other buffalo exchange and they are much worst. the cloths that they sell really are ugly. they sell the same style and nothing is ever in style. the shoes are ugly and their hangbags are soo old and not cool. i wish it was like it was back when they opened. they need to stop hiring their friends to work there and hire different age and styles. my grammer sucks. sorry.

Cool clothes.
Not to say everyone who works there is inattentive, but there seem to be a good number of employees that really enjoy ignoring customers.
On the positive...still one of my favorite stores to find the unusual.

Satan runs this store.
It’s a thrift store….nothing more. I find the same items here that I would find at Goodwill and Savers, except Buffalo runs more expensive. The sales people are pure wicked, which I think is because they are being controlled by Satan. Oh, and never try to sell here. I tried to sell brand new items and slightly used items – DKNY, Prada, and Banana Republic….they wouldn’t take any of it. I’ve gone twice to sell and will never do it again. They judge you – not your clothes. Honestly, these people need a course in common courtesy and customer service. I have never understood why people take a job in retail, when they hate people.

This Place is Awful DO NOT SELL HERE !!!.
This place is horrible. I went here to try to sell a pair of new $100 jeans and they said that they wern't good enough for the store. The employees judge weather your clothes are good enough by what your wearing. That b#t@h looked at one shirt and was already unimpressed. she didn't even bother to look at anything else. she simply said that we can dontae this to charity if you like ??? what the ??? thoes clothes go right back on the storerack marked up to $15. They are jus rude people who think they are so cool just because they are weaing tights with holes. They walk around with thoes ugly peircings and tattos like theyr'e runway models and they so arn't NEVER SHOP HERE !!!

Don't bring your nice clothes. They don't do classy here..
Ugh, I just got back from the hipster hell that is Buffalo Exchange, and just a warning: a fair amount of bitterness follows. I brought some classy designer items in perfect condition to sell, and they didn't want any of them. I'm talking Betsey Johnson, BCBG, Neiman Marcus, etc. At first I was a bit bruised (because the snotty employees always make you feel like they are rejecting you and your style personally, and every snob working there thinks they're unique and cool with their ripped black tights, facial piercings and filthy hair--ask anyone who really knows how to rock the vintage look, and they would tell you that Austin hipsters are formulaic and tired. Here's a truly unique idea: DON'T get a tattoo or a facial piercing! But I digress....) Anyway, on my way out I looked around at the racks, and I suddenly had an epiphany: every piece of clothing in there is faded, wrinkled, ripped up trash. Like it came out of the bottom of the Goodwill reject pile. I don't mean that the clothes are in bad shape, I mean that the only clothes they think are cool enough to buy and sell are the ones that look like trash on purpose. I believe "distressed" is the adjective du jour. Anyway, if BE is on the cutting edge of trends, and the trend is trash, then I am happy to take my non-trendy clothes right back to my closet.

Coolest castoffs around: Yeah right!!!.
If you want to be treated like dirt by a buyer that dresses like she is a 1980's mental patient then this place is the place for you. Not only do they look down on you by the way you dress before they have even seen your stuff but they give you practically nothing for it , then turn around and sell it for 5 times as much.
Message to the sellers: wake up B#$c*@s! you work in a Thrift store, not for a designer in Paris or Milan!!!
If I could give this store a negative rating I would.

RIP OFF.
The employees who select the clothes to buy have absolutely no system of selection. They will rip you off when you try to sell your good clothes. Don't waste your time or money at this place.
