Way too small for their own good...

To start off...this place has pretty decent customer service, I will give them that. I've been 5 times, and haven't had a "bad" experience, most of the time its been ok. They dont go the extra mile...like most hookah lounges in Austin and my only complaint is that its so small and uncomfortable that I'd rather go down the road to Bubbler's and pay a little more for equal...if not better customer service, WAY better music, AND a lot nicer environment. Pipes Plus is great if you dont mind settling for second best. I'd probably go back if it was the only option, but that's the problem...pipes plus is always packed because with barely 1500 sq ft, and only 5-6 tables to sit at so I never stop to even consider them anymore.

Good job on the customer service...but wake up and get with the program. There's such better potential than what they're showing. Its obvious they're just comfortable with the way things are.

Awesome Hookah Bar

I've been to Pipes Plus a handful of times now. Every time I get the same experience consisting of excellent service, good prices, and a nice atmosphere. It's not exactly the prettiest Hookah bar I've been to(Kasbah is prettier), but it feels much more "Austin" to me. In exchange the prices are much better and you aren't nickel and dimed at all. A flat fee for as many flavors of shisha you want and as many coals as you may need.

I can't say I've ever finished off a Hookah at Pipes Plus...my longest session was a good two hours! Not to mention the service is the best I've ever had. I was checked on at least one to two times an hour and my coals were replaced as needed. I've been to two other Hookah Bars in Austin and never I have received this type of service.

To make things better, there are always friendly people hanging out that creates a nice atmosphere. Chill music playing in the background sets the mood just right. Pipes Plus is great, I just wish they were open later

Best Shisha in Austin

We had an amazing time last night at Pipes Plus. After trying (or atleast walking by and turning our noses up at) every other lounge in Austin, we tried Pipes Plus and were greeted immediatly (the guy who was running it, Scuba Steve, was awesome) and felt right at home. The chill, lounge atmosphere was much better then the hip hop we're used to and a lot more fun then the stuffy Morracan lounge down the street. Half way through our first bowl an amazing live band came in and continued to play for a full 2 hours. Plus each bowl was only $10 each, much better then the $18 we had paid elsewhere. Scuba Steve checked on us and our coals every 15 mins and the whole experience was great. Easily the best Hookah in Austin.

• Cons: Right off campus, potential for a lot of iddiot college kids
