Best Hair cut and color! Friendly Staff!. My experience at Zig Zag Salon has always been a great one. Each and every time I arrive at the salon i'm offered a beverage while i wait and i'm greeted by the friendly staff. The thing i like most about Zig Zag is that the people are down to earth and they pay attention to your needs. I highly recommend this salon for all hair services especially cut and color!

DOING IT RIGHT AT ZIG ZAG!. I HIGHLY recommend Zig Zag Salon for cut, color, highlight, style, waxing to anyone in need of any of these services. The atmosphere is so down to earth that you actually feel at home while enjoying good conversation with the staff. Customer service is a PLUS PLUS and there's is #1! I wouldn't go anywhere else in Austin for any hair care needs.

Great hair color and updo's!. I recently went into ZigZag Salon for some hair highlights that I wanted done. I can say that I was very impressed with the warm atmosphere and friendly service. And of course my hair color looked great, I've even gotten compliments from other hair stylist friends, so it was worth it. I went back again to get my hair done for a special event and once again an awesome job! I would highly recommend this place to family and friends, especially if you enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere, to go with your hair color/cuts etc.

They will rock your sox off!. Zig Zag is owned by my very dear friend and ONLY hair stylist I'll ever go to! I recently allowed Freida to cut off my mid back long locks to a very edgy at the shoulder layered style. I feel liberated! She added a boost of color to the crown of my hair and it completely highlights the cuts edginess. Never in a million years would I have thought to finally rid myself of the immense weight of hair I had for so long carried but this new cut is the best. I highly recommend this salon, not only is FREIDA the best, but everyone she has as her team are (to me!!) the next best thing and have been with Zig Zag as long as Ive gone there and thats since Freida first started there some 5+ years ago! The cost isnt your average $7 cut but the work these chix do and the service you receive is well worth every single penny you pay!! So go get a haircut, highlites, color, or even a wax from one of the few best sylists in AUSTIN....only a ZIG ZAG away!

Lauren is one of the best hair stylists in Austin. Lauren is an extremely versatile hair stylist. She can do just about any cut or style well from classic to trendy and is up to date on the latest techniques. I've tried several stylists in the 7 years I've been in Austin and Lauren is by far the best.

Bethany is the BEST!!!. Yesterday was my first time to get my hair done at Zig Zag. I have always had pretty long hair blonde hair, and a few weeks ago i let a friend do an at home job and she cut it off to my shoulders and made it pretty dark... wow was it a mess... A really good friend of mine has used bethany for years and has always had awesome hair...so i thought i would give her a try.... sooo yesterday i went and saw her and she got me back to almost blonde and gave me a really cute short hair cut....I LOVE MY NEW CUT i can't keep my fingers out of it because it feels so much more healthy... Thanks girls for everything, i love going to Zig Zag!! and BETHANY is AWESOME!!!

The best thing you can do for your hair is go to Zig Zag!!. Four years ago when I was a Freshman I would drive home to Dallas every time I needed to get my hair cut or colored because I was too terrified to try a new salon. Finally one day my friend convinced me to go to Zig Zag and get cut/highlight from Bethany. I loved it! Bethany is amazing and I always get amazing hair cuts and color. Once time I even attempted to dye my own hair *never do this I promise you will regret it* Of course I ended up with maroon hair. I called Bethany for an emergency appt and she fixed it and my hair looked awesome!! I LOVE THIS SALON!! Everyone there is super friendly and are all fabulous at their jobs. Even if I graduate and move away from Austin I'll probably drive back to Austin just so I can still get Bethany to do my hair. Moral of the story IS Zig Zag Salon is awesome and so is Bethany!! I get compliments on my hair all the time.

Lauren rocks!. I love Lauren. She is so talented and gave me an AWESOME haircut and fabulous highlights. Plus, she gives really great eyebrow waxes. I am a UT student without a lot of extra money to spend and a loyalty to my hometown hairdresser. When I didn't have time to get home to see my old hairdresser, I tried Lauren and loved her. For $75, I got tons of highlights and lowlights, which is better than I was getting at home in Houston. I only wish I could include a photo to show you!
