Great Doctor. Dr. Youngkin and his staff are very professional and I am glad I switched to his care. He takes the time to explain terms, labs, procedures and answers all my questions - which are few b/c he's already explained most things. I would definitely recommend him.…
Love this MD.
I'm on my 2nd pregnancy now and really love having Dr. Youngkin as my MD. Finding him was a fluke as I just typed in "austin OB/GYN" when I found out I was pregnant with my first. I had a great
pregnancy and delivery. So, when I became pregnant with my 2nd there was no question he was going to do the next delivery.
His staff is great, makes you feel comfortable, and he's able to make both myself and my husband feel comfortable having him deliver our kids. Oh! And the plus side is that his billing office is pretty good. A lot of times you can find a great MD, but dealing with their billign staff is not worth the effort. This is NOT the case with Youngkin's office. I've been able to ask my claim questions and they've worked with me and the insurance carrier to resolve any issues that occurred due to insurance changes.…

I went to Dr. Youngkin at the rec of a nationally known Obgyn who Dr. Youngkin worked with when he was young and who is now retired. This Dr told me that Youngkin is "who he would send his wife to."
(I went to get a 2nd opinion because another HIGHLY popular Dr in Austin demanded I have surgery asap but my parents (I was 26) thought I should get a 2nd opinion.) My parents knew the nationally known Dr personally and connected me with him for a referral.
Dr Youngkin was able to CORRECTLY diagnose me and fix my issues completely with a $30 prescription and NO surgery! I am an attorney and I have since learned that 2 of my friends who had serious infertility problems (one for 4 years) were finally able to have kids with Dr. Youngkin's help. This is the best Obgyn in Austin. He is well-respected in the medical community and is the BEST.
He can be a little clinical--but, if something goes wrong--who do you want: the guy who makes you feel good or the guy who has the best expertise and can fix it? Dr. Youngkin is compassionate too---he is just so smart sometimes I think he has trouble relating that. I quizzed him HARD on the latest science on some of my personal issues and he was well-read and up-to-date. This is a Dr who knows his stuff.
Take it from me-- this is the Dr that the people who "know" go to. I have heard it from a doctor, a nurse, a fellow barrister and several other people.…
Very confident Dr.. Looking for a best OBGYN, We did not regret in choosing Dr. Youngkin. Quality care from a very competent Dr. is what I and my husband describe Him.
Awesome Dr and office. Great Dr and great staff. Office is always welcoming and appts are on time. I never feel rushed going to see Dr Youngkin and he always has a warm smile. I've seen him for over ten years now and have sent many friends his way.…
