Opened in 1996, this unassuming storefront on the east side of I-35 is the epicenter of Central Texas kayaking and canoeing. Walk inside the no-frills shop, where scores of pristine new and used canoes and kayaks dangle from the ceiling (they claim to have the widest selection this side of the Mississippi), and you can find accessories and equipment, sign up for instruction or rent gear or a watercraft until you've zeroed in on the vessel of your choice.
