Miss-leading information from staff. Gage Furniture Store Round Rock, TX

Uninformed Staff. We identified end tables, coffee table, Flex Steel davenport and two accompanying chairs and was told we could select any fabric from a set of samples the salesman gave us and the cost of the furniture would be the same price. After selecting the fabric we got the salesman and told him what pieces of furniture and the fabric we wanted. He then keyed the information into the store computer after which he came back to us and said the cost for the two chairs would be $200 more per chair. We couldn't believe what he was saying. So we asked him again after stating what he had told us previously about the fabric samples and the cost. He said the fabric we selected was more expensive. We pointed out the two chairs setting there on the floor had a very similar fabric, color and pattern. The new cost would have pushed the cost of the two chairs to $700 plus for each chair. Almost the cost of the davenport. The staff at Gage made no attempt to explain the reason for the increase other than to say it was more expensive fabric. Well being upset we left the store and they lost a $3000 cash furniture sale.

Terrible Customer Service!. They only want your money! Once they have it, don't expect anything from them. I purchased a nice TV stand from Gage Furniture in Round Rock. The piece was about four times as much as I would normally spend, but it was beautiful. Once I got it home and started building it, I realized that there were pieces missing. I still had the receipt and was willing to bring it in. They would do nothing for me. No refund, no exchange, not every with the receipt and for the exact same piece. Nothing! They were extremely rude and spoke to me as though I were a complete idiot. I will not be purchasing anything from them ever again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs.

Very friendly salespeople. I shopped at Gage to buy some new leather living room furniture. Michael was my salesperson. He is so sweet and down to earth. He knew about the product and helped me make an informed decision. I will always buy my furniture from him and Gage. Thanks so much for a great product ON SALE!!! Good job Gage!

Best furniture buying experience ever!!!. I hate buying furniture as the experience is always filled with pushy and rude salespeople. Recently I went to Gage Furniture in Round Rock, Texas to look for some new living room furniture. I was greeted by a very nice young man (Hector Morales), who explained about how Gage works. After a while of looking I found a set of furniture I liked, but I had some questions. Hector proceeded to answer them openly and honestly. When I asked a question he did not know the answer to, he promptly asked the store manager (Kevin) to help. He very graciously answered the question and proceeded to get me a cup of cold water which impresed me as this is not what I am used to when shopping. It just seemed as if I was visiting old friends. After I placed an order and was told about the delivery program and the time frame for delivery. The product arrived on time, and I was called by Gage to set my delivery. The delivery service was prompt and courteous. My new furniture was beautiful and I am very pleased with Gage Furniture. I feel different about buying furniture and feel appreciated and valued as a customer. The staff at Gage has product knowledge, great products, and great prices. Most importantly, I was treated with respect and concern for my needs, not just how much money I could spend in their store.

Stay Away! Learn from my mistake!. After much shopping around town, the living room furniture we most liked was unfortunately found at Gage. We at first were highly put off by EVERYTHING in the store having a 6-8 weeks delivery time, but we decided that to have the exact sofa set we wanted, we would put up w/the outrageous delivery time. Note, our furniture was NOT special order! After 6 weeks, we had not heard a peep from them, so the we called to see how things were coming along, and were put off, told the manager would give us a call back, which he never did. Week 7, we made another call, were told someone would get right back in touch w/us, and guess what? No call back. Week 8, and they could not even tell us when the our furniture was due to be shipped from the manufacturer. They were NEVER apologetic, embarassed, nothing!
