Austin >Cody Pools
Do not go with this company. I could not have asked for a worse experience in my life. I felt like just a number among many other complaining customers. DO NOT BUILD WITH THIS COMPANY. It was one of the worst decisions I have made. My pool is still incomplete, months later.
Exceeded expectations. Over the past fifteen years we have build six pools, my job required significant relocation. Our sixth pool was constructed by your company. We initially selected Cody Pools for the following reasons: quality materials, reputation and competitive pricing. Cody Pools far exceed our expectations throughout the whole process and the final product is everything we expected plus some. Our sales manager; Dale Sprigg was very honest and response to our needs, set the tone for the experience. The pool Installation manager; Shawn Barnacle (perfect Texas football player name) was the most authentic, transparent, responsive, installation manager we have ever dealt with. His work ethic matches my own which is very high bar. We are very thankful and appreciative of these two men's effort, they really promote the Cody Pool brand in a positive manner.
Cody Pools Does It Right! Very Happy!.
My wife and I have discussed having a pool built for over 8 years and have finally decided to take the plunge this fall. As you know a swimming pool is a big investment so deciding on a pool company can be difficult decision. The length in business, quality awards and word of mouth is really all that a potential customer has to go by. We did our research and decided to use Cody Pools.
While our pool is still in process and scheduled to be completed next week, I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how things are going thus far.
Our process commenced with your designer Peter Batterton last month. As I mentioned, building a pool is big decision and can offer excitement, apprehension and in some cases a bit of anxiety. We did our research of all major pool companies in the Austin area and went to Peter with all of questions and concerns which we picked up on during our pool building research. Peter was extremely patient and understanding of all our concerns and answered our questions concisely or did some research to ensure he was providing accurate information. In the interim we were very close to rescinding our contract with Cody and going with your competitor; however Peter was very good about listening to our concerns and offering solutions, and more importantly reinforcing the strengths that Cody Pools as whole would be able to offer in the short and long term. We were very impressed to see how passionate Peter was with Cody Pools quality so we decided to move forward with your company and thankful that we did.
Peter informed us that our superintendent would be our primary contact going forward and introduced Randy Bolding to us. Now we get to see if everything that Peter assured us of would come to fruition.
I don’t know if the subcontractor’s quality of work is determined by Randy or Cody Pools management but we have been very pleased with quality thus far. During our initial meeting, Randy was very clear about the entire process and what to expect from Cody during all stages of construction. Randy has been at the job site everyday and has been easily accessible by telephone to answer any questions or to provide progress updates. Randy has a very friendly personality and is definitely someone that we’ve felt confident in assuring that this pool build will be performed to our satisfaction. I feel that Randy is a tremendous asset to your organization and deserves to be recognized for a job well done.
I am sure that you will agree that any company is only as strong as their work force and feel that you need to be reminded that you have a strong tandem with Peter and Randy. I am confident that Sherrill and I will be very pleased with the finished product and are very excited to begin years of enjoyment with our new Cody Pool.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! STAY FAR AWAY FROM CODY POOLS!. HORRIBLE! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Warning others against this builder! I had a $60,000 Cody Pool installed in my backyard. I'll try and sum this up but basically had numerous quality and electrical issues with the pool. Lights going out, blown breakers, faulty pumps, cracks in the border. I am not exaggerating one bit I had and still have issues with this pool. The best part is once your warranty runs out you're on your own. My pump failed when my warranty ran out and knowing I would have to pay out of pocket I called Cody back anyways because after all they built the pool. Guess what they told me. They told me because I was no longer in warranty they couldn't service my pool...even if I payed for it and they told me to call another pool repair place! After $60,000 this is the kind of service I get? Cody Pools had numerous times to make this right but frankly after so many issues I am exhausted. I'm warning others PLEASE go somewhere else to your pool built. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. There I warned you!
Great Pool. We recently had a pool designed and built by Cody. Every aspect of the experience was fantastic. The design was one of a kind and really fit our tastes and complimented our back yard. The designer worked with us to design our dream pool without putting any pressure. The construction of the pool was outstanding. We were kept updated throughout the process. The finished product was everything we could have hoped for and more. They worked with use every step of the way.
