Good bar, lousy dance lessons

Cool bartenders didn't numb the disappointment we had showing up for Saturday night dance lessons. Half the bar staff didn't even know who the dance instructors _were_, and with good reason: they never announced themselves, were never identified by the DJ, and never seemed to show anyone a single dance step. They *did* seem to be there looking to hit on women, and since my girlfriend and I were there to learn as a couple, we were out of luck. If you're female and want to be groped, take it in, otherwise, give it a pass.

I Drive 2 Hours to Go! Ropers has been a part of the Austin night life for some time now and has earned the right to be called One of the Best! The next time you get the opportunity to step out, do so, join Old friends you haven't seen in a while,Plus new ones you'll be sure to make. "Thomas", the best bartendar in Town , is ready to take care of your needs / remembers your drink( whether it has been 2 days or 9 months since he saw you last)!! Doors are open and the fun begins, come on in , all ages (oops! No minors of course!) I have a group of friends called the "R&R Pose", couples that met there, some that just enjoyed it and returned...we live all across Texas now, and return to Ropers every chance we get!!! see you there, I hope!

I just love Ropers! It is the friendliest nightclub in town. The staff is very polite. The Music is great and the atmosphere is incredible.

Ropers is the most up-scale nightclub in Austin and is in a great part of Austin. I highly recommend it!

Last night we saw Willie Nelson there just hanging out. He was so nice. If I had too rate my favorite three things about Ropers it would be: the politeness of the people working there, the great drink specials and the classiness of people that go there. Oh, good looking guys, too!
