Engine Light Came on During Weekend

A couple of weekends ago during a cold and rainy Saturday morning, my engine light came on. My regular shop did not answer the phone. I happened to see a copy of a Groupon special we had for Dave's Ultimate Automotive. I called and within two rings, Dwayne answered. He treated me as if I had been a long time loyal customer, although this was my very first time to call. Although his shop is closed on Saturdays, he not only answered the phone, but he made arrangements for a mechanic to see my van that morning. When I got to the shop, the mechanic was extremely friendly and efficient. He checked the van, determined I could keep driving. It was a huge relief to be able to determine that I could continue to drive the van during the weekend. I made an appointment to have the van fixed during the week. When I returned for the scheduled appointment, I found the staff to be very friendly, they called and explained what was wrong with my van, gave me time to think about options. The whole experience was excellent. I have to say that I am most impressed with the fact that Dwayne answered the phone when the shop was closed and made arrangements to have someone look at my van.

Seriously Good People ...

... that do seriously good work!! I've been going to Dave's up on Howard for a couple of years now, and every time I leave the place I feel good about the work they've done. Trust goes a long way. I can trust DUA to take care of problems with my wife's vehicle even if I am not in town. How many businesses do you know that'll take your phone call and just say "don't sweat it, we'll take care of it for you?" They have gone above and beyond the call of duty a number of times. Any time I've needed a hand, they have been there to help me out. They help keep my Jeep and Dakota rolling just fine!! Dave's regularly has specials, VIP discounts, a taxi service, and they have developed a discerning palette for fine baked goods .. thanks to my wife!

Yeah ... we recommend them 4 show!!

ULTIMATE SERVICE!!!! A++++++++++++++

I HAVE HAD MY CAR'S SERVICED AT MANY SHOPS IN AUSTIN BUT WHAT A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH I FOUND IN DAVE'S ULTIMATE AUTOMOTIVE! ME AND MY WIFE FEELS SO COMFORTABLE HAVING OUR CAR'S SERVICED AT BOTH LOCATION'S AND THE GUYS ARE ALWAYS SO RESPECTFUL AT BOTH LOCATIONS CLASS ACT CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT TO MENTION THE WAITING AREA'S WOW I FEEL LIKE I'M AT HOME BY FAR THE BEST THE IN CENTRAL TEXAS! I CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT DAVES' SHOPS VERY RECOMMENDED...A+++++++++++ WE WILL CONTINUE OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH DAVE'S FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!

always quality and trustworthy

I am not a car guy and have had concerns about most mechanics, but I have been taking all our vehicles to dave's for the last 6 years and have had great experience with them. They give detailed recommendations, but don't pressure about unneeded work.

I just want to know what is most important and why, and they are always patient in answering my questions about what are the priorities in keeping my vehicles running smoothly in the most cost effective manner.

I will contnue to recommend this business to my friends and family.

great work

I have had nothing but great experiences at Dave's Ultimate.

I have been going there for 7 years now. Never had a problem with any repairs done there. Friendly staff.
