Eh....
The margaritas are ok. They have enough booze in them to make them passable... but are really sweet.
Tonight was our first time eating there.
I ordered the Spinach Enchiladas.
The "sour cream sauce" was Velveeta with a scoop of sour cream on top, and the spinach was from a can.
The refried beans were also from a can.
Not the worst I've ever had, but I doubt if we'll go back.
cant beat it. Great nachos and tortilla soup.. And carnitas that are incredible Took a buddy from west texas and he said it was the best hed ever had.
Super drinks, average food.
Their top shelf margaritas are loaded! Their Mexican martinis are as well. Food is nothing special, but that doesn't matter when you are drinking great ritas.
Get crowded a lot, and the space is small.
One of my favorites. I love this neighborhood place. I go there for breakfast tacos frequently, and even the dinners are really good at a low price. Staff is exceptionally friendly.
Tasty Place. Great Hot Sauce, fast service, decent portions for the price. Come as you are, definitly not upscale. Furniture is sticky, a good cleaning would be nice
Great Service - Good Tex-mex. We've been doing Jardine's a couple of times per month for the last year or so...always great service and rarely disappointed with the meals. Try the tequila chicken (it's also the Tuesday lunch special) or beef fajitas...always good. The tacos are a little bland as are the basic enchiladas. Hot sauce and chips are good...Margaritas are average...beer is cold! The service is always good, fast, efficient, attentive. Usually a wait during busy times only.
Great Mexican Food!. If you want to go to a place that has great Mexican food that's cheap, this is it! It's been around for a while, and the food is awesome. I recommend the enchiladas blancas.
THAT'S NOT CHICKEN!!!!!!. I have no idea what people in Austin are thinking sometimes. I absolutely HATE this place. I have read other reviews and everyone mentions the Margaritas. Well I guess after getting drunk on cheap alcohol ANYTHING will taste pretty good. The food is bland and prepared poorly. A friend of mine ordered chicken sour cream enchiladas and went for a bite and pulled out something resembling an organ (human or chicken is yet to be determined) from the tortilla!!! I dunno Austin... I think we have a problem... My co-workers eat there all the time and coming from Dallas where there is AWESOME Mexican food I'm thinking they have NO IDEA what they're missing... IDIOTS!!!!!
I can't say enough good things about Jardin Corona.
I live close to Jardin Corona and go there at least once a week. The food is always fresh and the drinks are some of the best I've had. My fiancee picks Mexican restaurants for their salsa and she loves the salsa at Jardin.
I have not had a meal there that I have not liked.
Recommended. This is a good restaurant for casual dining. The mixed fajitas for one is not only tasty but feeds two. Their queso is the best. The prices are low and margaritas are great. I recommend the top shelf Grande. Definitely better than Chuy's. Some servers are slower than others but the food makes up for it. Love it!
