Manager in chrage is a drunk. If i could give less then a star i would. The bartender who was in charge tonight was so drunk she couldn't focus or give good service. When i tried to get attention to another bartender to express the fact we had been waiting for a period of time, the bartender in "charge" or manager on duty whom we had been watching take shots said the F word at me several times and told me to go to the other bar in the karaoke room. Worst service i have ever had in my life. I don't know how any establishment can function when the people who are supposed to be serving are taking shots in front of the clients and deliberately ignoring and swearing at paying costumers. in my opinion this bar is for regulars who are willing to put up with the ignorance, because they are ignorant themselves.…
One of the BEST open mics in Austin..
Sunday and Monday's they have an open mike which can't be beat. I haven't met the questionable characters that the other review writers described but I bring various band made of high school students
from time to time and they love playing on the real stage to the manageable crowd. I love their burgers and steaks and I hope they keep it up.
Peace
Joe…
A sudsy, song-happy and diverse crowd..
In Short
The Water Tank is almost on the frontier of Austin, out on McNeil Drive. Almost all the food is fried. The onion rings are as crispy as donuts and there are omelets on the weekend.
People sing songs when the karaoke fills the bar Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The other four days boast an assortment of bands. The cast of characters attending such evenings include college students, bikers, dot-commers and seniors.…
A fun place to hang out but there are alot of low life's. Food is great.. Good place to eat and use the internet during the day. Pool is great and the kareoke is fun. Avoid the regulars - rather skanky.
Fun Local Dive. Just your typical local dive. Fun and comfortable atmosphere. A nice chill place to see and have some local Texas fun!
