Locally owned and operated, Ame's Cleaning has been serving Austin's residential and commercial cleaning needs since 1987. Ame's Cleaning
is a fully insured company and a member of the BBB. We send the same cleaners to your home/office each visit. Our cleaners dust fans, cobwebs, blinds, window sills and silk plants. We move all knick-knacks and other items from counters, table-tops and vanities to clean all items and their underlying surfaces - this includes wall hangings. We wipe down all doors, baseboards, cabinet fronts and air return ducts/vents. We scrub and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens. We clean inside microwaves, tops of refrigerators and fronts of all appliances, as well as vacuum and edge carpets, mop all floors, take out the trash, sanitize trashcans and sweep and clean front entrances and back doors.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The consistent quality service and reliability is why I have been a customer for many years. I love the days when I come home and the ladies have power cleaned my house---it smells and looks fresh and clean. Ame has always been accommodating when I have had to change an appointment and always professional and friendly. As a small business owner myself the dependability and professionalism of Ame's helps me to be a more relaxed working Mom. Awesome company!!

Ame's Cleaning has been our housekeeping service for 4 years and they are outstanding: four star! I have used maid services for the last 25 years, and Ame's offers me the best in professional expertise, both in management and in house-cleaning skills, while maintaining a personal touch that is so important when you allow someone to come into your home on a long-term basis. I speak regularly with Ame, and one of her senior housekeepers has been the regular lead of a 2-person cleaning team in our home for 3.5 years. I feel confident that they respect my priorities and meet my needs. When I have to reschedule, they are always accommodating. Ame's supports local charitable causes, environmental-friendly products and practices, and demonstrates ethical and fair business practices. Without reservation, I trust Ame and her staff and recommend her services to all with complete assurance that they will perform up to all expectations.

I used Ame's for a detail clean after I saw them at my neighbor's. I had a positive experience and will use them again, the office was friendly and the cleaning ladies worked hard.

TERRIBLE! Worst job ever! Ame is rude and unprofessional. What? A CASH ONLY business? This is a scam. The girls cannot clean properly, leaves trash behind, talk on the phone constantly and Ame doesn't care. She is not even paying them minimum wage. She uses them like slaves. If you want your house clean, do it yourself is my advice.

Dont Recommend.
I have NEVER taken the time to write a review on any service. Unfortunately, our experience with Ame's was bad enough, I am. The owner, Ame, was extremely rude and unprofessional when we called several times in an attempt to get our house clean. I know we have high expectations, but when I can come home, wipe the surfaces in my house with my hand and dust gathers, that is not good.
We tried several phone calls and was working with a very friendly lady in the office;however, the last time I called, I got Ame. Needless to say, by the end of the call, we were no longer a client of theirs. I was willing to put up with the loud music while they cleaned, them moving my furniture and not replacing it to its original position, them ripping my towels to make them smaller, and the list goes on...BUT, when I encountered the owner, that was it.
Ame advised me that we were the problem because on two occassions they had come to clean and we forgot to leave the key outside for them. Actually she said many and I corrected her at two. I then proceeded to explain what took place to cause those mix ups. She never did mention that there were days they did not show at all. She never mentioned the many times we've called because the work was incomplete. I invited her to come look at the work done by her company, but she was not interested.
A professional business begins and ends with the owner. I am glad others have had great experiences with Ame's, but for me, I like a clean house. It's also nice to work with professionals. Neither of which I got from Ame's.

Wouldn't use anyone else!. Just have to compliment Ame and her staff for the terrific cleaning they continue to provide my husband and myself! We have come to use Ame's exclusively for many reasons. First and foremost is the professional manner they conduct themselves. They arrive on time, are pleasant, and work so very hard from the time they arrive to when they leave. And when they leave, my house just shines! We use them for special occasions also, and they come through every time. Ame will even check with us to get our feedback - I love the personal touch. Most of all, I feel very safe when they arrive, and I feel confident that the job will be the best in Austin!! Many of my neighbors are long time clients of Ame's - no surprise!!!

Worst Cleaner in Austin - Do Not Use Ame's Cleaning.
Ame's cleaning is the WORST! They did a terrible job. The owner is rude and irresponsible.
We have very expensive home that is only 3 years old and they ruined all of our toilets with some cleaner that stripped the finish on them.
Ame refused to replace our 4 damaged toilet seats, would not give me her insurance info and flat out "would not take any responsibility for the damage" to my property. I asked her to personally come and see the damage and she refused. I had to follow up with her again and again after she continually promised to follow up with me and did not.
Instead she sent a cleaning crew who completely agreed with me that the finish was stripped due to a chemical cleaner. We have not had anyone else clean our house since Ame's. When I asked her to make good on the damage again after her "inspection crew" came out and agreed that our toilets were chemically damaged, she flat out refused and insinuated the damage was due to a "wire brush". Scratches vs. blotchy stripped finish are 2 totally different things. Again I invited her to look first hand and again she refused! She ended the conversation with "I don't care, do whatever you want" - nice attitude
She makes her customers pay cash only (I'm sure the IRS will find that interesting). She makes her cleaners buy a $750.00 vacuum cleaner from her and makes them use her unmarked and unbranded cleaning solutions.
When her cleaners were in my home Ame called me several times on my personal cell phone to speak with her staff because they didn't answer her calls. She was on speaker and all I heard was a rude, angry, mean woman browbeating her staff for not working fast enough.
I would not recommend anyone contact Ame's unless you are an IRS agent.
RE: Ame's Response: Don't believe a word Ame says. She was contacted 3 weeks later. We went out of town a couple days after they cleaned so I wasn't really looking for damage but as soon as I noticed it, I called.
What Ame neglects to mention is that her cleaners did not bring cleaning supplies so not only did I offer all any and cleaning solutions we had in the house, I had to go out and buy Endust dust cleaner and vinegar.
You be the judge...is it reasonable for a client to have to buy dust cleaner and vinegar for a cleaning service? Notice that she didn't defend her "wire brush" claim...we don't even own a wire brush.
She made no effort whatsoever to act reasonable, timely or to resolve this matter in an objective way. Did you hear an offer for resolution in her response? Me neither.
Don't let Ame's cleaning service near your home, office or apartment.
Ame's Cleaning Service is TERRIBLE!!!
P.S. I'm a member of the Austin Apartment Association and will be forwarding this to all the owners and managers.

We serviced Scott's home on January 20, 2012. Over 5 weeks later, he called our office to report a "problem" with his toilet seats. What he neglects to mention is that during our initial visit to his home, he deemed our green, non-toxic and non-abrasive cleaners inadequate and proceeded to buy and supply our team with the products of his choice. We cannot be held responsible for the effects of products that we did not supply. After 25 years, our long-time staff continue to serve many satisfied and loyal clients. As evidenced here, it is impossible to please everyone. However, when approached in a reasonable manner with a reasonable and timely claim, we make every effort to resolve matters in a fair and objective way.

great service and always accomodating. Always do a great job, anytime (rarely) that I notice that something was missed, by leaving a note for the girls it is always corrected. I have had to call a couple of times to change my schedule or last minute company coming in and they have always accomodated this with a pleasant attitude.

Great Service.
Ame's girls always do a great job. They are quick and thorough and put forth the extra effort to make us happy. We are so happy with this service!
Once, we didn't have clean sheets for the bed (it had been one of those months!) so they stripped the linens, washed them, and put them back on for us. I HIGHLY recommend Ame's Cleaning.
