In Short – Emma Long Park comprises 1,000 beautiful acres dotted with oak, ash and juniper trees, with almost a mile of lakefront along Lake Austin. The park's amenities include two boat ramps, a fishing dock, protected swimming area (lifeguards on weekends, summer only), rest rooms, showers, sandpit volleyball courts and a concession stand open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There's also a 4.5-mile trail for hiking and biking.

The park has 20 utility campsites with water and electric hookups and 50 tent campsites where visitors can camp for up to two weeks. Permits are strictly first come, first served, so get yours early.
