Charming, Eager-to-Please Waitstaff.
This is a wonderful little cafe in a non-descript strip mall. The deck was nice and if you situate your chair so that you're not facing the parking lot, you get a feeling of seclusion.
The food was good. My favorite was the roasted brie on pita. The cajun mussels were also tasty (can't beat the Clay Pit though). The sangria was delicious. It's highly recommended that you eat the fruit. They soak it in the wine for a full 24 hours so it has a rich, sweet flavor. According to our waiter, this is the only sangria in town that has fresh fruit. Speaking of our waiter, he was a perfect host: attentive, yet low key and had lots of useful recommendations.
Great late night place on the north side of town - a rarity. (open til 2am)
