Used this service many times over 25 years in Austin, since they started. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, but generally got our food to our offices.

However, they've started to get a bit uncaring about service as they've grown. During this last SXSW, one of their drivers was parked illegally in the Car2Go spots downtown. When we approached in a Car2Go to park there, he gave us a lot of attitude and eventually told me to "shut the f*ck up" and "get out of here, tourist."

I assume he said the latter since we were wearing our SXSW badges. But he was dead wrong. And given all the business we'd done with them over the years, I was pretty incensed.

So, it's Longhorn Delivery or some other service for us, from now on. I don't want this same maniac screaming at clients in front of our building, even if he IS trying to deliver food!

For a service that delivers food from other restaurants, staff is their only major asset. If this is who is working for them, then GOODBYE.

UPDATE 3/21/12 - the owner of the company personally apologized for this driver's actions and dealt with him appropriately. While they have their problems, at least the management is responsive, which is all you can ask of any large operation.

I ordered food from BJs .... Worst ever... I live 10mins from BJs it took them more than a hour... Food was cool. Will not use them again they were to pricie n don't deliver the food warm! Beware!

I think Eatoutin is a terrific business. I would give them a five star rating!

They are fast, courteous and efficient. They are really a quality service. There was an error on one of my orders and the restaurant was at fault; however, they insisted on making it right. I told them it was unnecessary, but they offered to waive the service fee on my next order. I placed an order today and sure enough the service fee was immediately waived.

I will always use them for food delivery and, if you want quality service, I recommend that you do the same!

Love this site. Eat Out In is a life saver for me. I don't have a car and I'm on SS so if I'm going to spend money I want to be sure I get what I want and when I want it. There are plenty of choices and the service and the people are so friendly and helpful. So I can say love this site. Hope they will add a few more of my favorite places before long.

Eat Out In is a Very Exciting Food Delivery Service. I find this food delivery service very valuable for San Antonio, Texas. They have wonderful restaurants to choose from and the menus give you a very wide variety. If you read this review then do yourself a favor and order in tonight. Thanks, Diana

Dinnertime is Saved!!. As a busy mom, Eat Out In has saved me many times now. To have a service deliver hot food from a variety of restaurants makes busy weeknight dinners a pleasure instead of a pain. It's so nice to be able to eat food from some of our favorite restaurants while not having to load up everyone into the car to get there.

The food always arrives hot, the drivers are pleasant, and it saves me stress since we don't have to get in the car to pick the food up.

If you haven't used this local service yet, try it today!

So Many Options and Great Service!. I have been using Eat Out In personally and professionally for MANY years and never really thought to write a review. But oh how I should. This is the best delivery service in town by far. They are consistently adding restaurants and keeping up with the needs of the town. Their service is always fantastic, the delievery drivers pleasant and personable, and if a mistake is made, they are quick to fix it.

For office catering, personal dinner, or a private party that you just don't want to cook for (I mean hey- order some food, put it in your own dishes, warm it up in the oven and your guests will never know!) they are THE BEST OPTION around.

Thank you Eat Out In for years of service to me and my company. You are truly awesome.

Great Food While Watching Bill O'Rielly. Great food while I watched my 401K drop out of the sky!!! At least the food was good & on time I wish this Stupid President would do something good. Got Chuy's food always a favorite here. If you get the crispy tacos make sure to ask for the ground beef on the side they were nice & crisp when I put them together. Try the Hatch Green Chili sauce for the salsa it's awesome. Tastes like your eating in New Mexico. Green Chili Fest couldn't come any sooner!!!
