Terrible service. I've been a customer here since the store opened in the 80s, but sadly they have lost my business. Over the past three years the service has become increasingly bad. I'm rarely met with a smile and often feel as though I am putting out the staff by having the nerve to ask them to - gasp - MONOGRAM something.

I've tried returning a few times in the last few years, because in spite of the horrid attitudes the work is good. I will not, however, give them any more chances. The last time I was in the sales person snapped at me when I asked a question: I was trying to decide on a font and she practically yelled, "Block or script?! PICK ONE!" Needless to say, I was taken aback! Aside from her outburst, she was generally rude & dismissive throughout the time I spoke with her. Incidentally, I was placing a nearly $100 order, so I don't feel that I was wasting her time. Whether I'm spending $10 or $100+, I expect to be treated kindly when I am in a store.

I will NEVER shop at the Monogram Lady again. There are other options in town - try Personally Yours or Flying Threads. Or, if you have the time, shop on line. Skip the Monogram Lady!

best in town. After wondering where to take my monogramming a friend had told me to go the Monogram Lady, that she takes all her monogramming to them. I went in and was amazed at all the wonderful things they had in their store, from baby all the way to wedding gifts and everything in between, they even had sorority gifts. I placed my monogramming order and was told to come back i one week from that day and that they would call as soon as it was ready, well two days later i got a call that my order was ready and i was so excited, I went in the next day and they had done an excellent job on it, I was so happy and will return with all of my monogramming needs.

Disappointed and will not return. I was so disappointed with my experience! I went in to have something monogrammed and they seemed as though they did not have time to help me. I was passed off to another employee while placing my order and the person previously helping me started reprimanding one of the employees. The new employee helping me kept putting down initials when I wanted the whole name. After I had the name cleared up I was told it would be ready in a week (Monday after 4pm). I was not very upset after this visit because anyone can have a bad day. I arrived back the following Tuesday around 2pm and was told that it might not be ready because it was not after 4pm. I informed her it was Tuesday the day after it was supposed to be ready. She brought it out and said it had not been clipped because the clipper did not come in until noon and that is why they say ?after 4pm?. I did not even bother to say AGAIN that it was the day after it was supposed to be ready. The item was correct and did look nice, but next time I will go somewhere else! I spent $30 to have something embroidered and was not treated with courtesy. I will not recommend this store.
