Horrible Liers!

This gym is a mess. It is dirty and is ran by teenagers.

The owner has a bad team and since of customer service. I started going there two years ago. They are always making repairs and the treadmills are always braking. I called to cancel my membership multiple times and the corporate office never answers the phone and never calls you back.

The front desk girls have no customer service skills. I had to repeat the spelling of my name many times. And they she still couldn't get it right and kept placing me on hold.

I would run like HELL from this place!

Total Lies!

Dumb Staff!

With Regret, I must Amend My Earlier Favorable Reviw

My annual dues for Premier Lady were tripled this year with out notice, as were those of all members whose original contract was with Figure World. My bill did not come in October or November as expected so I asked about it in December and was told about the increase in annual fee from around $70 to $222. She went on to say that letters had been sent out in November, our normal billing cycle, with bills informing us of this. Apparantly there were problems with the mail out and some members recieved multiple letters, it took a bit to convince her I had not recieved a bill or a letter, of course my gasping "$220!?!?" at every turn did not help. I paid it this year because the increase while shocking was not unaffordable and it too late to look for another club -- although I suspect I would not find one with the same ammenities for less.

Like many of "the Figure World Ladies" as the staff call us, I had a full price lifetime membership fully paid in cash from the 1980s and they were not cheap - the only reason to pay that much was to lock in the low annual fee with some allowance for increases in administrative fees, which have never exceded $10. The Premier Lady staff tell me that they could have raised the fees to the current rate back in 1999 but did not, and that they gave us the lowest current membership price and waived the joining fees. The idea that charging us to join again as if we were new members was even considered made me feel that the Figure World Ladies are no longer valued members of Premier Lady.

I still like the club and the staff - the young lady who broke the news to me was polite. The north club is very conveniently located and I doubt I could find a better deal. However I have to say that while I continue to go, I just don't feel as good about being there. Many of the Figure World lifetiime contract holders are retired and tripling their rate was anything but honorable. This could have and should have been handled differently.

• Cons: Feel more like a tolerated outsider than a valued member, No Spa/Hot tub at North Location, No fitness Swiming Instruction or lanes

Great Place to Workout

I've been a member of several gyms over the years and this one is by far the best experience I've had yet. I joined a few months ago because I was looking to get in shape and lose some baby weight. Not only have I started to see a difference, I feel great too! If you're looking for a place to workout, I highly recommend Premiere Lady Fitness & Spa.
