30.309413 -97.751265good lady with big heart. Coming from a background where men don't admit they need help, I was really glad to find this lady on my insurance plan. She's straightforward and tells it like it is. I never really expected to find someone who understood my problems and my life. Not only did she understand me, but she didn't mind that I cuss like a sailor. She explained why I had developed my mental problems and she was able to give me plenty of suggestions. I don't like to read much, but she has short handout papers you can read and easily understand. If I was willing to do my part, she said she could help me. She did! Would I go to another counselor in this town? No way! When you've found the best why bother looking elsewhere. I don't need to see her any more, but if I had another trouble I'd be at her door in a heartbeat. Forget counselors who want your money and give you their fake smiles and nods. This lady is for real and she's one in a million.
My whole family loved seeing Kathleen Clark for counseling. If you're looking for a counselor who cares about you , this is the woman to see . She is generous with her time and gives you an entire hour not just 45 minutes like most counselors do ( while charging you for an hour ) . I took my college daughter to her and we both liked her much . She was insightful and careful about wording her recommendations . She is not someone who does this just for "the money" . You can tell that by her very presence . My daughter and I both loved that she is casual in her dressing for the office . It surprised us both that she is 64 years old . You can't go wrong if you choose her for your counselor . Even my husband , who met her only once , thought she was very good at assessing our situation .
Great Therapist. Kathleen is a great listener and a consummate professional. She has a great deal of respect for her clients and it is very apparent that she cares about my issues and concerns. She's been a great help and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who would like to improve themselves.
superb & witty. There's no longer an orchid office ! But you're right about her being zany AND compassionate . She seems like a REAL person you'd like to know . Yup , lots of handouts . And lots of homework . Made me understand that I'm the one who has to do the REAL work in my life outside her office . Yup , she actually spends an ENTIRE hour with you not just 45 minutes like some other counselors I've seen . I found her on Psychology Today site . Phi Beta Kappa , like she could have a ginormous ego , but she DOESN'T . I'd go back again if i needed to and I'd send my best friends . BTW , she has a big , red leather chair she sits in now , but she'll let you sit in it if you want to . Power chair ! Can't believe she's over 60 ! She's been doing this since before I was born ! She's still got black roots to her bleached blonde hair !
psychotherapist and counselor. She looks pretty good for being 60 years old . She's also pretty experienced : 37 years as a therapist . She is Phi Beta Kappa , which means she's either very intelligent or studious . I like her laid-back and friendly attitude. She knows lots of different techniques and she has handouts on every topic you can imagine . Her office is close to Shoal Creek Hospital . The waiting room looks like your grandma's living room , lots of pictures on the wall . Her office is unusual : orchid walls and a wild-patterned couch and some interesting art work . She's known for being 10 minutes . Music in the waiting room is classical so I just take a snooze .
