dont go unless forced worst place ever. i was at shoal creek hospital last spring. it was very crazy there was a ca by the name of eninja who was very rude and acted stupid. she was always mean to me. the doctor that i had his name was dr shiva lam and he was horrible too. every time i would mention when i was suppose to get out he made me stay longer. all the times i have gone to shoal creek have been wierd and crazy. and all the time i have gone i was forced. the staff doesnt really listen to you and dont ever try washing your clothes because it will be a long time before you get them back. im not afraid to say that my name is tiffany and i hated and will always hate shoal creek. so dont go unless you are absolutely sure that you are crazy and out of your head. try to get treaded at home if you can.

Worst Place Ever-Do Not Take Your Friends!. The people that work at this place must hate everyone. They are rude and hateful. One lady was talking about how she was on 14 different medications and bragging about it. Another lady said that she had electic shock therapy and she could not complete a sentence. A very scary, scary place and no one should go here voluntarily. Remember, you might check yourself in but only they can check you out. I was visiting a friend and found out that she had gone to check herself in for depression and three hours later she was not able to leave. This is when her nightmare began.

Worst Experience Ever. Don't waste your time on this place. I think whoever runs this place should be run out of town. There is no program to really help the patients at this facility. The staff if extremely rude and will wait until two patients are fighting each other before getting up out of their chairs to do anything. The management does not care when you have a complaint and will just take up for their lazy, rude staff. I would never voluntarily come back here for help again.

Horrible place to detox. I went here for help and admisions was ok, but my room was very dirty with someone elses dirty clothes in the only drawr I had to put my clothes in. The night staff wouln'd t follow the doctor order for the medicens I was to get. No one showed me around, so I had no idea where to go for what. The mattress was a 3 inch piece of rubber on a wood plank and I had to beg for an extra pillow to cuddle (that how I usully sleep. The nurses were mostly rude and I was told by one this is the worst hell your ever gonna go thru. This place needs help badly. The food was disgusting. Thank God for choclate milk. Horrible experience; worse than jail. Tiny locked ward. No fresh air. They really need to work on their proceurs here. Go anywhere else you can.
