Worst Food Ever--Seriously. Absolutely the worst fajitas I have EVER had. No joking. The WORST EVER. I just thought the reviews were full of people who were exaggerating. We went, sat down at an amazing view, and then had some great drinks. At this point I was like, "Yep the other people were full of it, this place rocks" And then the food came...wow. Just WOW. I have never in my life had fajitas that bad. I had a friend who got drunk one time and boiled the fajita meat instead of grilling it--these were worse. DO NOT GO HERE TO EAT. However, go eat somwhere else and think of this place as a really cool bar and you will be in good shape. Seriously, don't ruin your good time by eating food at this place.

Improved Service and Improved Food. I have been an Austinite for nearly 25 years and recently relocted to north Austin. A few weeks ago, in need of a margarita and a relaxing evening I was advised by a friend to revisit the Oasis(since I hadn't in about 6 years). I was amazed at the job they did rebuilding after the fire and the size of the new building. Not only that, but the girls at the front desk were beaming and eager to tell me all about the new bulding and the owner's future plans for a shopping center on the property. My waitress(I believe her name was Clair) was prompt and friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. Her suggestions turned out to be big crowd pleasers. The food was much better than I remembered! The queso, mango tilapia, and beef fajitas were a big hit. Overall, I was greatly impressed with the service, the food, and of course the view...from start to finish!

YUCK!. We drove out for brunch today. They list a Hatch Chiles omelet> I have never seen a smaller ombet. Could it have been a 1 egg omlet? Also, where were the hatch chiles? It was easy to try and find them with such a small omelet. We found 1 very small, piit would of diced hatch, we think. That one little peice could have fit on top of a pencil eraser.

I have what they called huge breakfast tacos. When finally came out, it was 2 small flour tortillas, small spoonful of egg and some unmelted shreded cheese. WHAT A JOKE! I hve never had anything so tasteless.

I know this is a tourist trap, but you would think they could at least have mediocre food so locals would come out ocassionally. I will never recommend this restaurant, but will definitely people to stay away!
