This is a fun place to go if it's not too hot out. Most of the seating is outside on picnic tables. The food is REALLY good though, and inexpensive. The catfish is excellent, as are the burgers! Parking in the lot can be difficult, but it's not usually too bad.

We go to the boathouse about once a month for burgers and steak fries. Simple fried food that are just good. Sure this isn't a 5 star restaurant but for what it is, it isgreat. Burgers, catfish and chicke fried chicken ar every good. My brother in law loves it for the "cougars", especially when they have a live band. Expect kids and a rocky floor on the patio.

This is a great place. We really like the grilled chicken sandwich and the catfish basket. The service is good, and they keep things lively.
