A group of friends and I visited C & C Friday night, October5. I ordered a Mexican martini to share with a girlfriend. We received our drink with two cups (plastic, squatty). When pouring the martini out of the shaker, there was not enough liquid to fill the two small glasses. The shaker was basically full of ice. Considering the outrageous price of the beverage, I asked to speak to the manager (to determine if this is common practice or an anomoly). The manager approached our table and we politely asked if this portion was standard. He said "Yes, it is." We then commented that the shaker was only full of ice. To which the manager stated, "Next time you can order one with less ice." I was blown away. 1) I can't believe this guy got promoted to manager given his lack of empathy for/with the customer. 2) He insulted my intelligence. How was I supposed to know to order my beverage with "less ice"???? The manager must have reflected on his ridiculous response as he sent over another martini "on the house." This one too, was basically just full of ice. I understand that the beverages and food are overpriced, given C&C's location. The customer gets more than just the food; they get a view of the lake ,etc. However, I believe the customer should be treated with honesty and respect. I simply cannot understand the "order it with less ice" response of the manager. Again, it insulted my intelligence. I guess next time I'll order my martini with "NO ice."

Some buddies and I drove down from Ft. Hood over Labor Day Weekend and we needed some chill time. Nate and Corey were our bartenders and we had an awesome time. Great drinks, great service, hot chicks, what else could you ask for? I don't understand some of the other reviews that are listed for this place..it was a great time. Definately will be back and tellin all my buds to come down with me.
