A Great Place to Learn. I found Texas Sailing several years ago while surfing the internet. I always wanted to sail my own boat and take an adventure through the Caribbean. I had to learn ho to sail first!! Texas Sailing made my dream a reality!! I just got back from a 7 day charter in the BVI!!

I took two courses over (basic and cruising). It took me a while (over 12 months)- yep thats right, I am like a snail but what was cool ......I worked at my own pace and there was no presure except for the "man overboard drill".

Great instructors, great people and locally owned!! I found that sailing was for me......just wish we had some water in the lake! I wil be out on the water soon

Luxurious sailboats, superior service, great sailing. I met the folks at Texas Sailing in 2004 and have been sailing with them ever since. Not only do they have fleet of spotless Beneteaus, they have friendly community of customers who love sailing... for us, Texas Sailing is not only a great way to enjoy Lake Travis, but also a great way to make long-lasting connections and friendships.

At first, having only sailed dinghys and small catamarans, we were a little nervous stepping onto a 31' foot cruiser, but Bill explained the systems and procedures and Robert took us on a few practice runs as we learned to maneuver the boat into and out-of the slip. We have since enjoyed many overnight trips, anchoring in hidden alcoves for great swimming, regattas and gorgeous sunsets.

We haven't had a chance to enroll in their sailing school...yet, but I'm eager to ratchet up our experience so that one day, we can charter a boat in the Caribbean.

We highly recommend Texas Sailing and look forward to many more sailing excursions and adventures with them.

Sunday sailing. Had a great afternoon sailing on Lake Travis thanks to Texas Sailing. The staff makes sure everything is taken care of and they make it easy to have fun. Their Beneteaus are very roomy and are always clean and ready to sail when you get there. If you get a free Saturday afternoon, the Beer Can Regattas are a blast. I am looking forward to another cruise… next time with some sun screen.

Clear sailing!. My whole family took sailing lessons with Robert and Tasha and really enjoyed it. My daughters, then 9 and 13 were treated with respect and taught with care and patience. A great experience. My husband is a hard core sailor, and I prefer to be "taken sailing"-- Texas Sailing caters to everyone. The boats are always clean and ready to go, and the staff is invariably kind.

Great Sailing - Great Team. I've been sailing on Lake Travis since the late 90's. Have used TSA as a bare boat, captain charter, corporate regatta, and leasee. Boats are always well found. Staff is excellent - knowledgeable and helpful. I was a novice when I first began renting their boats, and found them excellent instructors and supportive of my learning process. Note that proficiency is expected - either via certification or practical demonstration - to take a bare boat. That is as is should be as Travis is always changing (depth) and usually pretty busy (traffic) and one needs to be able to handle a boat well in those conditions. Highly recommended at any step in your sailing adventure.
