Terrible service and a complete ripoff. I had the same experience as several other recent reviewers. JFF tried to charge me $108.00 for a supposedly 'damaged' prop. The owner told me if it was his personal boat, he would just fix the prop but since I supposedly damaged the prop, he had to replace it. The guy is rude, obnoxious and a crook. Don't do business with these people…
Horrible phone service and rude personel.
I have been on many party barges at JFF and had a great experiences and loved the boat captains!
BUT I just had a horrible experience... such a bad experience that I am taking the time on a holiday weekend to share this missery.
I called Saturday evening to check the avaliability for a pontoon rental on Sunday... the young guy who answered the phone told me that there were plenty of boats avaliable and to just call back early in the morning (He should have made the reservation for me then... but he was being LAZY)!
I called Sunday to reserve my boat. I was first on hold for 32 mins before I was disconnected... I called back and was on hold for 52 mins. I hung up and called back, when I did so the woman asked "can you please hold" at which point I said "No, I have been on hold for over an hour and a half- I just need to see if you have a boats avaliable". In a very rude and condescending manner she told me it was a holiday and to call back later. It would have made more sense for her to inform me of that when she first answered the phone in stead of putting me on hold and making me waste half of my morning!
I am so turned off by JFF and will never spend my time or money with them. They obviously do not treat their customers with gratitude or respect.…
Save your time & money...Go somewhere else!.
They charged us for a "damaged" propeller and made us buy a replacement. When we asked them if we could keep the old propeller, since it was no longer any good, they said no, that they were going to
fix it.
So why did we need to buy a new one for them if they could just fix the one we supposedly broke??? As if paying $150 for a ski boat rental wasn't enough. So they got to make an extra $100 plus tax for a part which cost $40 to buy and nothing to replace. Since the employees are on an hourly wage, they don't get paid anything extra to install. It took them 5 minutes for them to install it, so there was no need for us to paid parts and labor.
You're better off going somewhere else.…

Great Boat Rental. The staff here is great! We rented a boat last friday and Wow! what a good time. We reserved a boat online through their website (easy). When we arrived we had to do some paperwork and then they took us to our boat. They went through some rules and showed us how everything worked...this was a little boring, but paid off as we saw some people getting tickets for not following the laws. The guy that showed us everything was polite and really seemed to know a lot about boats. The boat ran great and we rented a tube as well which was totally fun. We came back a little early because everyone was tired and Just for Fun even gave us a credit to use the 20 minutes that we were early for the next time. We will definitely be back!…
