Austin Shoe Hospital in Oak Hill.
I've been going to this location for years and found it to be okay. Now that Emilio is there it is great! He is very knowledgeable about what is needed for each repair whether it is shoes or bags or even leather furniture. He once helped me select the exact color dye I needed for a leather cushion. He also has a good, well-organized stock of accessories and products even though the store is very small. Emilio is such a pleasant, friendly person that you always feel welcome in his store. He seems to really love his job.

Could not be happier.
Austin Shoe Hospital helped me fix a broken purse strap recently and you would have never have known it was broken. The work was perfect and now I don't have to buy a new bag. Thank you so much for getting the job done right the first time!

DO NOT USE AUSTIN SHOE HOSPITAL!!!!.
I had to give this store 1 star or I couldn't post, would give it ZERO stars, if possible.
I got an account JUST to review Austin Shoe Hospital. Took my shoes in for dying for my wedding. A week later they came back splotchy - color in some areas, no color in others...SERIOUSLY...and didn't even come CLOSE to the color I chose from their own catalog. Sent them back for re-dying and to fix the splotches. They fixed the splotches that should never have been present in the first place...just crappy workmanship. They decide NOT to re-dye without talking to me. They came back to the store 3 days late and here I am, the day before my wedding, hunting for shoes.
Unhappy customer, who was made to pay, due to the 'no guarantee' paper I signed, calls the manager, CARROLL KELLY to tell him I'm unhappy and shouldn't have been charged because his employees did not re-dye my shoes as I requested. Not only did he admit that the shoes shouldn't have been returned to the factory (cause, apparently, ya get ONE shot at dying shoes and no more)..he admitted to me that they get customers to sign the 'no guarantee' paper SO WE HAVE TO PAY. Now, I'm a reasonable person, and I'm not just posting this because I'm pissed...I clarified and reiterated to him that 1) my shoes should never have been sent back the 2nd time and the guy at the store should not have told me they could be re-dyed to the proper color 2) that they were 3 days late AND 3) that they get us to sign that 'no guarantee' paper in order to get their money (I was very specific with this last one because I wanted to be sure I posted the correct information...he said it and I repeated it for his clarification...he agreed that my perception of his statement was correct).
WOW. DO NOT USE AUSTIN SHOE HOSPITAL!! I will be disputing the charges and will be posting my review everywhere to save as many people as I can from this store.
