In Short – A night at this hardcore lair means goatees, beer bellies and motorcycles. Those wishing to stay away from bar fights sit at the worn wood counter and leave their cell phones at home. Seventeen pool tables crowd the floor, as well as a substantial arcade to blow laundry money and win a stuffed animal. Live music is available most nights, featuring goth, thrashcore, heavy metal and death metal, along with occasional rap appearance.

there is no more live music. I don't know nor understand why the live music is gone? This "was" the best and only place to see a metal show. I am beyond saddned that the venue is gone. Allthough, if you live neer by, it is the perfect local hole in the wall! A bunch of metal heads, bikeres and gutter punks just hangin out drinking and playing pool. The perfect austin bar!

if you want to keep it metal austin, this is the place to do it. great shows, and a manager that cares about the local music scene (i'm giving you the finger here Stemboat) punk fest 3 on saturday was pristine in it's raunchy, noisy, torn flag waving glory. The Misguided Lemming, Blacklung Patriots and Head First rocked the hell out of that stage and then saved the tasty leftovers for the rest of the bands.
- Pros: good parking, girl bartender, RUBBERHED!!!!
- Cons: cous cous, red beans and rice, chumba wumba
