Wasn't worth my money. First of all my husband and I are on a budget. We haven't been to Midnight Rodeo in quite a while.

We went to Midnight Rodeo for New Years Eve. On the internet it did indicate that People's Choice was playing that night and it said that it was $12.00 on Friday night. We called our friends and told them it would be $12.00. When we get there it was $15.00 per person. I was not happy about that and informed the cashier. It was TOO loud and couldn't hear what she said so we went in and met our friends anyway. I was the designated driver and didn't drink, we went to the bar and was charged $2.00 for a bottle of water and was told that the club didn't give free water any longer. I informed her that I was designated driver and she told me that the water wasn't free.

So, my experience with Midnight Rodeo was not pleasant. In the future, I don't plan on getting my friends together at Midnight Rodeo.

Disappointing. I've been to this place twice, both times on the weekend, and I have to say I was pretty disappointed both times. Unless there's a good band playing, this place stays pretty empty. Even worse, the DJ stopped playing country at 11 and started playing rap. To top off an already lame night, the bartender overcharged my debit card by $40!! If there's a good band playing there isn't any room to dance so don't count on that either. Bottom line: Pay with cash and don't count on a great atmosphere.

Sort of trashy..... Been here once, so maybe it isn't representative of the usual nights here. It was a range of crowd ages from 18-50s. The music was okay, though it played 50% country and 50% hip hop. The drinks were cheap and made decent. It had a sort of "trailer fabulous" feels to it.

BEWARE!!!!. If you go here for a show and the parking lot is full, do not park in another parking lot around there...you will get towed! Midnight Rodeo does not put up any courtesy signs for their customers about parking elsewhere.

Avoid Saturday nights - Classic Country - It's horrible with the Austin dance club!. When Classic Country began on Saturday nights, my husband and I couldn't wait to go. We were happy to learn that finally maybe there would be a dance club catering to the older crowd - singles & couples. It started out great! The New Manager, Sarah, was really implementing some great changes -- that is until they allowed the dance group to take over! After Dallas Night Club closed, the Austin dance club started showing up and taking over the floor. No more dancing for the locals --they like to intimidate other dancers that just like to dance and have fun. They act as if they are the only ones on the floor! It's not fun anymore. We won't go back until they stop coming. They are rude and arrogant and leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth. They stay away, we'll be back! What a pity to lose a great Saturday night of dancing because of such arrogant "better than thou" people. There are a few polite and courteous dancers among the group -- but for the most part, they're not! No one enjoys watching others dance if they have come to dance themselves!

Sarah, please stop them -- do something to change this situation! Others will leave as well. We're good dancers, but hate having to always fight our way on the dance floor.

So, people, stay away on Saturday nights until things improve! Maybe Dallas will open again and they will go back there. Or, better, still, Sarah offer a Sunday night just for the dancers -- they like that better. Then, this would be a win - win for everyone!

Once a massive lumber warehouse, this sprawling nightclub caters to cowboys with its giant 2,000-square-foot oak dance floor, around which the timid, clumsy or just plain drunk gather and gawk. Regional bands take the stage most Fridays, while a house DJ draws two-steppers onto the floor with traditional country laced with occasional hip-hop Thursday and Saturday evenings. Nightly drink specials keep domestic longnecks and stiff cocktails in the hands of Rodeo fans.

Cute Guys and Great Dancing!. This place has everything from great coutry music to hot cowboys! I had the most fun I've ever had in Austin at the Midnight Rodeo. I highly recommend it to anyone wo is looking for a good time. The guys are hot and very gentlemen-like, so ladies, take your pick!

The Place to Party, Hook up and have fun. This place is the best. everytime i go there i have an awesome time. the music is good and the live bands that play there are awesome. it is such a relaxed atmosphere. if you want a good time then definitly go there.
