This chain restaurant's orange-and-white A-frame buildings dot the Southern coast, from Florida to Arizona. What's made Whataburger grow since its first burger stand opened in 1950 is its commitment to custom orders--the restaurant is happy to fill special requests, as promised in the motto "Just as you like it." The signature five-inch patties and buns--an inch larger than most other chains--have also hooked loyalists to their burgers and chicken sandwiches.

The nicest staff of all WhatABurger locations. So you know the burger, and the locations can be sketchy. I dont often go for the salty cheeseburgers, but when I do I go out of my way to head to the location at the south part of Austin. Nice folks.
