Food is Ok. This is a nice place to eat but don't expect anything spectacular here. The Gumbo is rather exceptional but the catfish is rather mediocre. I feel is it a little overpriced for the food quality but I still go there because of the great service. It is a comfortable atmosphere and portion size is good.…

Not impressed. I went to this place for the first time the other night, craving some fried catfish. When the hostess brought me to my seat, my chair looked like it still had food on it from 1986. I ordered a fish and shrimp combo which was carefully arranged on top of a institutionalized-looking plate. The shrimp was pretty good but, the fries were very soggy and the fish tasted dirty and of low quality. Dirty seemed to be the theme of this restaurant and while surveying the decor around us I noticed about three inches of dust layering most of it. Our waiter was very nice and helpful and it was evident that the service was the only saving grace at this place. I don't think i will go back, there are plenty of other fried catfish places around town.…

THE GREATEST SOULFOOD AROUND.... AH THE CATFISH CO. THIS PLACE IS ON POINT WITH SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTLEY FABULOUS, THE GUMBO IS HEARTY AND FULL OF FLAVOR AND PLUMP CRAWFISH. THE FRIED CATFISH AND SHRIMP JUST MELT IN YOUR MOUTH WITH EVERY BITE, THE ATMOSPHERE IS PLEASENT AND PEACEFUL, I DO RECCOMEND THIS PLACE FOR A GREAT MEAL REASONABLE IN PRICE AND GREAT CLIENT SERVICE.…

Great comfort food. The service and food was great! Once our server found out it was our first time, he was full of helpful suggestions. Our entrees were served quickly, even though a party of 12 was seated next to us. We were stuffed at the end of our meal, but we couldn't resist dessert so we took some fried cheesecake to -go. It was the best fried cheesecake I've ever had!…
