south austin heaven. best taco joint in south Austin for breakfast tacos. the food is fairly inexpensive, and is served relatively fast. the restaurant is short on ambiance, but makes up for it in quality of service and food. it kind of reminds me of a Mexican cantina inside. I go here maybe twice a week for tacos. I recommended the steak tacos with onions and jalape?os. I also recommended the brisket with rice which is unusual to find in a restaurant. it a little spicy but not to much. I use too not think much of this place when I was younger, now I don't know what I would do if they ever decided to move. which they were considering for a while. they have another location in Buda, but I don?t care as long as san Juanita?s stays on congress.

THE ULTIMATE Breakfast Taco/Enchilada spot in Austin. Looking at San Juanita's as you drive by may not draw you in as they are located

next to a tire/used appliance store, and you park in a dirt vacant lot. HOWEVER, their breakfast tacos are the best in Austin. Their Gorditas are made as you order them and they remind me of home down in South Texas. The Cheese Enchiladas are exceptional with a red sauce that is outstanding. They only serve breakfast and lunch.

South Austin's little secret. Don't be turned off by its exterior. This places is definitely no frills. That said, these are some of the best breakfast tacos in town--hands down! Get there early on Saturdays, as the wait can get kind of long.

yum, yum, yum,yum,yum, delicioso!!!!!. I think that san juanitas has some good food. And on saturday they sell some rico menudo. Every taco I have eaten is delicious. And the plates they serve are so good and they give them to you hot! The service is so good. The people that work there are so agrable and nice. so if you feel like eating mexican food just pass by san juanitas. before they close.(2:00pm).

Yo pienso que san juanitas tiene una comida muy sabrosa. Y los sabados venden un rico menudo. Cada taco que he probado es delicioso. Y los platillos que sirven son tan sabrosos y te los sirven calientes!!! Tambien el servicio de alli es muy bueno. Las personas que trabajan alli son tan agradables y buenas gentes. asi que si tiene ganas de comer comida muy mexicana pase a comer a san juanitas antes de que cierren (2:00pm)
