hao hao is this place still in business??. good god!! have none of you ever had real, or at least decent Chinese or Vietnamese food?? obviously not since you guys are to busy with no lives and sitting on the internet writing about some piece of shiit restaurant located in a strip mall (((were you not ever taught strip malls don't equal good food??!!!???)))

the only reason my roomie and i walked into this place was because we were doing laundry and figured "hey, it cant be that bad... and either way they must have booze"

seriously,, i could cook better food drunk as fuckk trippin ballls. this place is the worst Asian food Ive ever had in my life. the waiters couldn't speak English... i think... they didn't stay at the table long enough for me to find out actually. our food came out separately and i only expect that at madam mams. they got our orders completely wrong...((not 20 tables... 3... literally 3. they were closing.)) and regardless the order they finally got right was no where near being good Vietnamese or Chinese. it was kinda like a 2 year got the fridge open and threw some shiit in a pan turned the fire up and said ""LOOKERE WHAT I DONE DID MAAAWWW!!"" ((i may be a hick but definite red neck accent and humor intended :))))

whatever. its all bs. you priicks don't care. im drunk and got distracted by all you idiots saying this place was good and had to have my two cents. im sure ill regret having a membership to this tard fill site in the morning....

anyways, that's my rant. i couldn't let this shiit hole have so many good reviews from retard... yaaaayyy non pc haters

k wheres my hate mail responses???? hehehe amuse me while i drink my whiskey lol

jesus when did they start monitoring the net so close??? i cant say craaap???? really???

did i mention the multiple hairs and buggies my roomie and i found in our food??

Yummy!. I would give this place 5 stars except that their Chinese take-out orders are a little on the skimpy side, when compared to what is served in house and compared to ordering the Vietnamese dishes. Lin (the owner) is SUPER friendly and knows me by the sound of my voice on the phone and can guess which of my two favorite dishes I want. They really know how to cook tofu and everything I've had on the Vietnamese side of the menu is sumptuous! The Chinese food I've had is good, too, don't get me wrong, but we normally take this to go and my boyfriend would look at his helping of sesame chicken and then look at my much larger helping of tofu with vegetables and ginger and ask "is this all I get?" The main server is a bit on the sullen side, but seems to pride himself in being efficient and guessing what you might need before you ask for it. I have their number programmed into my cell so I don't have to look for the number and can order on my way home. Love it!

in the mall but not "mall food"... its actually REALLY good. the food is great (they really know how to cook tofu). fast and flavor-full. really nice people to (they actually remember me every time i come in). the dobie is lame (of course) and parking is sometimes a pain but its worth it every time. they have great consistency in their food.

Very good quality food - every time you go there.. I've been going to Hao Hao for well over a decade and the food remains the best Chinese I've found in Austin. I've tried just about everything over the years and ralely been anything but happy with the results. The spring rolls are great.
