view & uploadThe manager at Conan's South store called the police and threatened to have me arrested because I turned off Fox News on a TV that no one was watching. I emailed Conan's management, who was apologetic, but after 2 months still have not called me to discuss it further, as I requested. I was polite throughout the entire ordeal but, despite the fact that the food was mediocre, we didn't even get to finish our meal. This was one of the most shocking and insulting things I have ever experienced. I will never go to Conan's again and urge you to do the same.
Takeout only please! Best deep wheat crust pizza, salads, and great selection. Friendly manager. Order veggie on wheat, add sausage. Nom.
Great Pizza.
MOVE THAT BUS!!
Ok... this place needs a hammer, nails, paint and a role model.... good thing I didn't come here for the decor.
The Pizza is amazing...you have to get the deep dish with whole wheat, it'll change your life. Also, really impressed with the many different types of pizzas and the variety of the ingredients...
good job Mr. Barbarian.
This location doesn't do the rest justice. I adore Conan's, ever since I lived in north campus. The other locations are all great, so I was very excited when I moved south and there was a Conan's nearby! I got online and read horrible reviews, but decided to try delivery anyway, cause its so good. Well over an hour later, I get a call from the store chewing me out that I never answered the driver's call when she couldn't find my place. Well I never got a call from her and told them so. They said if I wanted my pizza I needed to call her. When I told them this was far too much hassle for a simple pizza, he said "F*ck you!" I will never give this location money again and I strongly encourage everyone else to avoid this location like the plague it is
Inconsistent Pizza, Inattentive staff, Inept Management.
Avoid the Stassney store at all costs. The other locations are all good and the one on 29th is excellent.
I hate onions and love jalapenos. They usually screw it up. The high school staff seems cranky and highly unmotivated. The premises look dirty and even the parking lot is scattered with litter. They never charge the same price twice, nor will they give you an itemized receipt. It is a very poorly managed restaurant. On rare occasions, they do make a super pizza, but you are taking your chances on a long wait with a disappointing result.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!. We have ordered pizza from this location for over 20 years, but will NEVER do so again. Last night, in a heavy rainstorm, I ordered two pizzas and drove over to pick them up. I paid for them, and then waited over ten minutes before the employee told me he was sorry, but that lightning had damaged the oven and it would not cook. He refunded my money and told me that if I called later this weekend, they would remake my order at no charge. This afternoon, I called to have this done, and was sujected to the rudest, most offensive, least professional treatment I have ever received. The unidentified man who answered the phone (he claimed to be the owner) told me angrily that I should never have been promised free food, that two pizzas was too much money for him to give away and he would fire the employee who was trying to keep my business. Then he launched into a tirade about how he was "not Mr. Gatti's", and how his business was barely surviving and how his ingredient costs had risen lately. He told me he would give me the pizzas if I insisted, but he did not want to. Well, Mr. Owner, I predict that I will see a CLOSED sign on your restaurant in the very near future and you can thank your shabby business practices and miserable attitude towards customers for this. Please excuse me now, I'm going to Mangia's.
Terrible Customer Service. It's a shame that the service is so bad at Conan's. They really do have quite good pizza. My wife and I have Conan's frequently, but I'm just sick of the service they provide and it just isn't worth it any longer. Often times when I call to order delivery, they'll tell me that they aren't delivering on a particular night without an explanation or apology for inconvenience. Sometimes when the pizza arrives (up to an hour and a half later) it's cold or the order is incorrect. Tonight when I called (got an urge to eat pizza late) I checked the website to see if they were open late. The site says they're open until midnight on Saturday, but the guy on the phone told me they were closed, he was rude and told me emphatically that the website says they close at 11:00 and that they had for the past 5 years (It definitively does not). Pizza's decent, service is poor.
