False info from other review but still a great CU. I'm sure this Credit Union is awesome, but the info on the other review is false. As far as 5.01% interest on checking, it is now a whopping 0.25%. I find it hard to believe it's changed that much in 4 months. The other reviewer is right about one thing though; Go with a Credit Union! They are so much better.

OH know what i did this weekend? i fell in love!!!. With my credit union!! Not only do they pay me to have my money there (5.01% a month for my checking balance, and they pay me back all of my ATM fees,) but on a SATURDAY I walked in with 2 little piggy banks of pennies and people were (SHOCK) smiling!! Then (gasp) they had free popcorn that you could serve yourself out of one of those big theatre things and (the crowd goes wild) I was able to put my own change through some machine, (so I didn't slow down the line) and they didn't charge me a percentage (like Coinstar) and they didn't refuse to accept more than 10 coins (like a bank I used to have). It was super easy and then they were NICE. Crazy, huh? I walked out smiling. I **HEART** credit unions!! <sigh> ... jealous? lol. Just kidding. I was shocked though and very pleasantly surprised. Did I tell you my friends? son wanted her to cash out his coin savings? It was like $300!!! I may turn her change in to my credit union to help get rid of it. My other credit union (who I've had for 18 years out of habit it seems) only takes coin inside at the one branch with a coin machine. (an old fashioned one... this one was like an ATM machine.) Hope you find the same level of service that I did.
