Holy Cross Lutheran Church is a warm and welcoming church in South Austin where everyone is truly welcome. Holy Cross is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and participates in Lutheran World Relief activities with weekly quilting and Fair Trade coffee and chocolate sales. The congregation is a close-knit church family supporting ministries in South Austin including: a dayhab for mentally challenged adults, weekly food bank distribution, and Saturday weekly services for a Seventh Day Adventist Hispanic congregation. Our family looked for a church home for over three years until we found Holy Cross. We are truly blessed to be a part of this congregation!
Pros: Pastor Magdalene Holm-Roesler and her ministry; Warm, Welcoming and Supportive Congregation.
Cons: Small, growing congregation with several infants, fewer school-aged children.
