nothing to write home about!.
Went to La Salsa for lunch, I work at the HEB next door. There were no customers in the restaurant which should have told me something. The employees were all in a booth in the corner watching tv and eating, the food was nothing spectacular.
might give it another shot one day!

Fast, fresh Mexican specialties and a signature salsa bar are the hallmarks of this restaurant chain..
In Short
Founded in 1979 in Los Angeles, La Salsa has grown into a chain of quick-serve, taqueria-style restaurants. Specializing in soft-shell tacos and other Mexican favorites, the restaurant's hallmark is its salsa bar that allows customers to choose their toppings. Menu offerings include a variety of fish, meat and veggie tacos, plus burritos, quesadillas and salads. Entree-sized meal platters--like the enchilada plate or three-pepper fajita platter--come with rice, beans, chips and salsa.

Salsa Salsa Salsa!!!.
This restaurant has great salsas. The food is definitely affordable, even for a super-broke college student.
The workers were very friendly and the portions hearty. I will be back!!!
