Tex Mex at it's Best. We've been going to Tres Amigos since it opened and love the staff, the atmosphere, the good and watching the birds and squirrels eat the tortillas off the tortilla trees. The flour tortillas are to die for and the margaritas are yummy. Every time we go we see someone we know and you'll see tables of senior citizens right next to a little league team celebrating a big win. Tres Amigos is a great Austin landmark.

waitstaff is good. I went there for lunch the other day and the food is pretty decent! OK the tamales are not that impressive....

but they have this new waiter with a long ponytail named Shawn and he was totally excellent! I gave him a great tip
