Best food ever. This location is great. Always great food and service. If I could only have one fast food place in the world this would be it. A ton of Texas charm and a huge grass area in the back to lounge on a nice day. Gas is stupid expensive but the just don’t buy it here.

Corporate BBQ. I used to love this place. But, it has now officially become corporate BBQ. Over the years the extra moist brisket has become less "moist" and less "dirty" in order to occomdate the homogenized tastes of an expanding empire that now covers from at least San Antonio to Tyler. You used to be able to compensate for this by telling the cashier you wanted "extra, extra juicy" and/or "extra dirty," etc. However, I showed up tonight and the young, spry, eager cashier responded to my request for "extra, extra juicy & dirty" brisket informing me that (a) they only offer "extra moist" through lean brisket, and (b) corporate policy doesn't allow referring the brisket as "juicy" or "dirty". And, she assured me that she'd be there for all of a year, and she'd never even heard the term "extra, extra moist." Corporate expansion has ruined the ambiance of this place. That said, the BBQ is still very good even if not extra, extra moist, juicy, dirty or whatever. But it's definitely not the unique fantastic place it used to be. Hope they're making alot of money to compensate for selling out.

Professional, Consistent, and High-Quality. I use Rudy's for Group Meals at least 1-2X/week. I continue to use them because they are consistently on time, everything is complete and well-packaged, and the food is always high-quality. The staff is friendly and pro-active in their teamwork, ensuring their teammates are on the way. Thank you Rudy's!

Solid, fast food, Que. I like Rudy's, it isn't the greatest, but it is what it is. A fast food barbecue place. Before Rudy's, I can't really remember where I used to go and get tasty quick, Que. Everything there is good, but the "eckrich style" sausage is just that. You can't really hold it against them though, how else do they have the time to make their own sausage.

rudis (Latin - unlearned, unenlightened). I wont partonize here after how i witnessed the immature and rude counter staff, and their supervisor, berate an elderly couple (who were in the right) for so long that the woman became embarrassed and had to leave the counter. then they overcharged me, the next person in line. food is variable, sometimes dry, but the staff is reliably aggressive and unfriendly.
