Worst Haircut I've Ever Had. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Stinks like cigerettes. Mark about spent 10 minutes cutting my hair and then loaded it up with hairspray. Other stylists have spent an hour on my hair for the same price. Absolutely awful.

Fantastic Salon. This is a fantastic place to get a haircut or color. Laura has been cutting my hair for years, and I am always happy with the results! She listens to what her clients want, and she is knowledgeable about all aspects of hair. I highly recommend visiting the salon! The prices are also very reasonable, and it is conveniently located off of BeeCaves road in West Lake.

Would not trust my hair anywhere else!. If your looking for a salon that's knowledgeable, well experienced, not pushy, personable, (not to mention good at listening, regardless if its pertaining to hair), then look no further.

Metamorphsis has been an family, locally owned salon in Austin for over 30 years. The environment in felt as soon as you walk in the door... easy going, personable, helpful and fun. Reminds me of how Austin once was.

I receive complements all the time on my hair. I have also referred friends who have not looked back. You will definitely get what you pay for and them some :)

Excellent Service. Mark has been my hair stylist for 10 years. He is wonderful! He's very knowledgeable. Mark has an eye for hair styles for all types of faces shapes, and is great at listening to what you want. All around I have been very satisfied with my hair care over the years and have referred many friends to him. Thanks Mark!

Been a Customer for 30 Years. I've been going to Metamorphsis for over 30 years as well as my friends. I constantly get comments from people about how good my hair looks.

Mark, the owner, has been my hairdresser for the entire time except for one visit that I made elsewhere -- I ran back to Mark to correct the horrid perm and cut I had received. He managed to salvage my hair and save the day.

He is quite knowledgeable about color, cut, and styling. His shop is located off Bee Caves Road, only minutes from downtown Austin. You can't go wrong with his work !!

Abby is the BEST!. I moved here from Colorado by way of San Francisco and New York. In NYC & S.F., you find the best stylists in the world. I was a walk in, and was scheduled with Abby. Abby is without a doubt the BEST stylist - she is absolutely gorgeous and sweet and very sensitive to your needs. She provided the best cut and color I have ever had!!! She continues to cut and color my hair, with outstanding results and terrific service. I am always amazed by her cuts, they are precise and spectacular! I don't have great hair, and she performs miracles! When you book here, always ask for Abby - you will not be disappointed!!

Consistently Good Stylist. In the fall of 2008, I was a walk in at Metamorphsis Hair Salon. The owner had cut my hair back in the '80's, so I was looking for him. He was out of the salon, so I asked for an appointment with anyone available. Fortunately for me, Abby had an opening to cut and style my two daughter's (ages 12 and 9) and my hair. The cuts were perfect and the styling even better. Since that time, Abby has cut my hair four times and my daughter's hair five times each. When I go out of town, my husband takes our daughters to Abby for a wash and style during the week. Abby provides a consistently great cut. Her prices are very reasonable and she is ALWAYS willing to work around our schedule. She is pleasant and personable and has a really soft touch. I can't say enough good things about Abby and am very happy we have found a stylist for the whole family!

Not that great. I was a walk in and got my hair colored by some girl named abby (abbie?). Was really unhappy with it and went somewhere else to get it fixed. She seemed new to the business... Evryone was nice but not happy with results.

Great Hair Salon!. I was lucky to find Metamorphosis seven years ago and highly recommend this hair salon. Everyone there is friendly and professional. My stylist is a great person to talk to and very knowledgeable about color and cuts. She is always on time, gets me in and out quickly and very reasonably priced. I have had many compliments about my hair and always leave Metamorphosis feeling like a million bucks! Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

Best Pedicure/manicure. When I need a pedicure I see Susan at Metamorphosis Hair and Nail Salon. Susan is the BEST. I always feel welcome and comfortable. The location is just minutes from my downtown office.
