GREAT hair salon!!. I have been going to Metamorphosis hair salon for 14 years and, obviously, love it!! They have always done a wonderful job of cutting my hair and the prices are very reasonable. The hair stylists are friendly and kind and make you feel welcome and comfortable. I have become good friends with the woman who cuts my hair there! I actually go to college about two hours away from Austin now, but I have still been driving back there for 4 years to get my hair cut there. The salon is clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Shouldn't be considered a spa!!!. I paid $50 to have 4 different services and all I would have to provide was tip money.The brochures were beautiful and had a "Day Spa look" to them. I made an appt. one day to get my eyebrows waxed and when I got there it was totally not what they made it look like on the brochure. Turns out all of the stylists work for themselves, the place looks rundown, and they don't even dress like professionals. It looks like it used to be someone's old house. I called before I got there because I realized I forgot to bring my brochure and the lady that answered told me that it was okay and they would just write my name down saying i got the service done. She walked me to the back of the salon and I sat in a crappy chair in the area where they keep all the hair color and supplies. I got my brows waxed and it didn't even look like she had done anything to them. Anyway I wrote the lady a check for a tip and she told me the service was $15. When I told her I purchased the promotion and told her what I was told when I called she said that the person must have been confused and that I would have to pay full price! First of all, if I would've known that I wouldn't have got them done and I even left her a $5 tip for a $15 service on top of that. I feel like I was tricked into thinking this was a high class spa and as a new client you would think that she would've just honored what the person on the phone told me. I will let my $50 go to waste before I ever go back there! Horrible experience.
