Not a family place either, we took our little league team and the nasty tattooed lady(?) behind the bar was not happy to see us or happy to sell 20 pizza's and drinks, breadsticks, etc.. She was ugly to the excited kids and more than once came out to yell at them. This place is more of a bar and the people around the bar seem like the homeless crowd. We didn't feel welcomed and I'm not going back to that dump. Spend your money somewhere else. This place should be closed, and the tattooed lady(?) behind the bar should be unemployed.
RUDE. The pizza on the buffet is okay. However, the owner is extremely rude and very ungroomed. He was sloppy in appereance and attitude. My sister ordered a hambuger that took 30 mins to cook and by the time it finally arrived we were done eating the buffet. We explained this to the owner and his reply was "If you want fast food go to Jack-In-The-Box"; he offered no apologies or a return of our money. He cussed at my husband and we left and will not return. I would suggest that this man learn some customer service skills if he would like to continue doing business in Austin where we are accustomed to good customer service!!!
BAD BAD PLACE. THE OWNER WAS VERY RUDE WHEN I WANTED A REFUND FOR A HAMBURGER THAT TOOK 20 MINUTES TO COOK. THE PLACE WAS DIRTY AND THE EMPLOYEE'S WERE NOT HAPPY TO BE WORKING.
Will Never Go There Again.
The staff are aloof and seemed as though they'd rather be shooting up somewhere. I'm not kidding.
There were drunk guys coming in and out of the place, fighting with each other, swearing and acting like a**holes. Keep in mind this is a pizza place where families are dining.
When I said something to the girl behind the counter she just looked at me. Later I realized that most of these guys were the staff. Who owns this place, anyway?
I hate to know what goes on in the kitchen.
Oh la la!. This pizza place is awesome! The all aboard is very good. The Hall of Famer is a sample of 4 pizzas in one. Its soooo good! Ive had the italian classic as well and its the best pizza I've ever had! Pizza rolls are good too. Ive dined in during the buffet and that was good. As the other review, the place was a little dirty and the waitress was like a walking zombie. I had a friend go there during the same time of day and the same waitress was there, and my friend said the same thing. Just order delievery, its worth it!!
So disappointed. This was our third visit to this location.. and it was our worst visit too. When we arrived nearly all the tables were dirty... they were not busy. Employees were smoking outside too. This is the gross part. There were( this review wont let me put in the word in - we will just say creepy crawlers that are in dirty kitchens) where the pizza buffet was. Sadly we did not see them until after our meal. I told one of the employees, who then proceeded to tell the manager. He looked for the "creepy crawlers", but that was it. Not once did he come over and apologize or anything. We were so grossed out. We will never return. YUCK! Its sad because we liked the pizza and beer thing they had going.
Awful Customer Service.
- I have repeatedly encountered terrible customer service at this particular Hobby Lobby store.
- The employees always seem to be in horrible moods. They are often very rude and offer nothing but bad attitudes.
If you do plan to shop a this store (maybe for the selection and price, which are good),
- Be prepared to wait in long, painfully slow lines
- Also be prepared in knowing that the employees will not be able to answer any of your questions or offer any assistance whatsoever
- If by some chance, they know how to help you, you can expect they will act as if you are putting them out or bothering them by asking them to do their job
- The store manager is nice and helpful, but the assistant manager I most recently encountered made for the worst experience yet
This is my first review ever on this site, and I hope it's helpful! I would really like to help prevent other customers from being treated the way I have been treated.
GREAT Thin crust!. I'm not a fan of thincrust, but I recently had surgery, and, if I want to eat pizza, I'm pretty much limited to thin crust, because I can't eat doughy things anymore. Well, I'm pretty much a Papa John's fan, but, while in Austin the most recent time, my motherinlaw ordered a large "All Aboard", and I just can't tell you how delicious it was! Their delivery time was pretty solid for a Friday night, and it wasn't a bad value. Go there, Try the All Aboard, Love it!
