Horrible Service Department
by kdr123 at Citysearch
They are slow, rude, and blatantly dishonest. After taking all day to diagnose a problem (because they let me car sit there most of the day when I had a morning appointment) they tried to charge me 30% more than the quoted price for parts and labor. Then they charged me a full hour of labor for a simple software update even though per the Chrysler service bulletin for the issue says .3 hours.
There is a reason why this place has horrible reviews. I should have known better. Mac Haik in Georgetown has great reviews and I will go there from now on even though it is further from my house.
How to do business badly

I only wish I could give zero or negative stars. These people should be in Washington for the ease with which they lie to customers. It's downright pathological. From the service manager (we'll call him Jonathan) to the head of the service dept. (we'll call him Darren), they have created the most miserable experience I've been in involving customer service. They were incapable of fixing my vehicle, of managing the situation, of obtaining parts - h*ll, they didn't even have all the tools necessary to fix the vehicle! And these people are a 5-star dealership?!
These guys are a perfect example of how *not* to run a business. Chrysler should get rid of them before the lawsuits start coming in.
And if you're a woman or an older person, expect to be treated with contempt. Know that you are at their mercy and they won't stop making your life miserable until you've promised your first born to stop the hemorraging.
If I ever say I want to go back, SOMEONE SHOOT ME!!!!

To sum up the dealership in one word, it would be awful. Between repeatedly lying to us after we signed a contract on a car and then telling us that the parts of the contract they had to live up to were not binding (in this case fixing the car before we bought it), it was a miserable experience. Even worse, they told us that because they already sold our trade-in (for a $1000 profit no less), we'd have to pay them $2700 to get out of the deal EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN"T FIX THE NEW CAR!!!
Don't ever go there, believe me it's not worth it. The general manager (we'll call him Mike) and the used car manager (we'll call him Joe) tell two entirely different stories everytime you want something fixed.
They advertise their "Maxwell Forever" program, but my slogan is now "Maxwell Never." I'd rather walk than drive a car from them.

Is there any way to rate below 1 star? We bought a heavy duty Dodge pick up in July and are still getting the run around. Phone calls & e-mails are never returned. The truck was damaged (tail gate & bumper) during transit, but we were assured that this would be taken care of. Here we are, about to start the month of October...it still has not been handled. We were also promised a spray in bed liner. Due to the fact that we live outside of Houston, we were told to get estimates for the liner here. Those estimates were e-mailed to the sales person, then to the sales manager, and finally to the general manager several times...finally we we received a check this week (it is the end of September), only because we finally went to "the 2nd in charge". Lisa seems to be on her game and can actually get something accomplished around there. I believe if you spend $60,000 on a vehicle (or any amount for that matter) that the things promised to the customer should actually be followed through on IN A TIMELY MANNER. I can tell you, I will NEVER do any business with this dealership again.
