I called all around Austin on a late
Sunday afternoon. Almost every place was closing for the day. But when I called Colorful Nails, they too were closing for the day, but insisted I come in anyway. I came in and got a manicure and pedicure. Instead of trying to hurry up and get me out of the door, these wonderful women stayed an hour over and did a fabulous job on my manicure and pedicure.
Due to the wonderful service that I had received for that initial appointment, I have continued to go there for the past 2 years. I have even gotten full sets that turned our beautifully.
These are the most patient, kind, wonderfully professional women I have dealt with in the Austin area and they will continue to receive my business and referrals for years to come.

What a hell hole!!.
They do not deserve a single star!
I went here one day. The nails looked ok. They next morning they were already lifting and looking as if they were 3 weeks old. It was awful! I went in and demanded to have them fixed. A gal fixed them, and they were ok.
Two days later I broke a nail at work. I have NEVER broke a nail in my life. I was so angry. After work I went in there and the gal fixed it. It was crooked and jagged. I just filed off the jagged parts at home later.
The very next day I broke that same nail. Durring my break against my better judgement I ran down there and as the first gal fixed that nail the two of them were telling me that I am too picky. Excuse me! Its my hand and I"m paying you remember? I got up and walked out.
I wouldn't recomened this place to anyone!! Lynn and Traci are awful!

Horrible service, dishonest.
Ugh...I wish I didn't have to give this place even one star. I requested a full set of solar pink & whites. The white was really crooked but I didn't say anything about it I just figured Id deal with it. Well the next morning I woke up and one of my nails was broke off in the middle. It would have been comical if I hadn't paid $50 for them the day before. The other nails were lifting up like I had had them on for weeks. So strange. I had never experienced that before. I don't know what kind of crap they're using there but they need to get something new. Anyway, I went back and I wanted my money back. The lady that did my nails before refused to give me my money back and said that she'd fix them. Umm if she did such a horrid job the first time why would I want her to "fix" them?? No thank you. So I ended up calling the owner and had to fight with her to finally get a refund. Such a pain. Needless to say I wont be going back!!

Pedicures are great, nails? Not so much!.
Pedicure was great but when the girl giving me the pedicure asked to see my nails, I could tell from her face that she was not impressed. My nails were thick, uneven and inconsistently shaped. The nail tech did her best to make my naturally curved nails flat and she succeeded. They were incredibly thick on the sides giving the appearance from the top of flat nails. I had polish all over my cuticles. The top coat was applied sloppily, missing entire sides of nails. I had bumps all over. Do yourself a favor, stick to the pedicures.
