Editorial Review for Neworldeli – by Tara Fatemi

In Short
The casual, comfortable Hyde Park deli combines a European cafe with a down-to-earth diner. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow plenty of light to shine on the multitude of interior plants while mustard-colored walls display local artwork. An eclectic menu features sandwiches (many vegetarian), wraps and salads. Popular choices for the lunchtime rush are the half-sandwich/soup combo (soups rotate) and a crunchy curried chicken salad with grapes and walnuts. Fresh-baked desserts include sweet, fluffy Key lime pie.

I eat here regularly as I work downtown and the sandwiches are always fantastic. The ingredients make the difference as your standard sub shops just can't compare. Food is always fresh and the menu provides many options. My only complaint is it sometimes gets really busy at lunch, but it is still worth the wait.

This is a great place to go to grab a quick, delicious, relaxed meal. One of my personal favorites is the Tuna Salad on Sunflower wheat with a cup of the most amazing tomato basil soup. All of the people working there have been extremely nice and helpful. The deli is usually very quite and relaxed creating a great atmosphere to have a low key lunch with a friend, or even go out with friends for a great lunch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Pros: Food, Service, Price, Parking Lot
